They said on the broadcast the AVG. starting line in preseason (of all kicks being returned) was the 28 yard line. That's a 2 yard difference than just ensuring a 30 yard line start by kicking it out of bounds. I would gladly trade 2-3 yards than a potential td being ran back by kicking it short.

All great and fair points. I just go back to McD and Beane constantly talking since our playoff exit about wanting to get speed, needing more YAC, creating more big plays, guys with big play abilities....all that pointed to Worthy and not Coleman for me.

Not playing scared at all. If you're smart (and I think Beane is) then you gotta know or feel the Chiefs were targeting a WR. If you didnt, and were completely shocked they took a WR, then you should be fired. I don't trade to a team that wants/needs the same position as me. Even if I have 5 WR's I like about the same in that spot (so I trade back), I dictate that decision. Not other teams (Worthy, Pearsall, Legette). I just think it was really boneheaded on Beane. Nothing to do with a scared mentality.

FWIW I do think we would have drafted Worthy if Diggs was still here. I think Beane was set on getting an X type guy after that.

I wouldn't have traded with a team I'm constantly hitting my head on, especially for the miniscule return we got. Especially knowing they wanted to take a position I also need there. Even if they told me "We like Worthy" and I dont...I just wouldnt do it period. Take your guy and move on.

Safety is riding on a rookie 2nd rounder who hasnt practiced much at all this pre-season, Rapp (who could really save his career with a great year), and an expendable vet from the Chiefs. I've been vocal about the Safety concern since start of preseason but I'm hoping they can manage it this year. If not I could see a lot of teams exploiting us, especially with all the talented QB's we play this year.

Eh, pass. I'm not looking to fill the out WR room with injury prone guys who won't last the season. Not in the mood to be calling John Brown and Cole Beasley again in mid-December due to lack of bodies.

While I (barely) understand the frustration by some fans at the Bills for cutting him early once the allegations came out....I think you lack critical thinking skills if you're still pounding the table that they "should have tried harder" to sign him once he was cleared of any wrong doing. As if the kid would even want to come back here. It's a weird hill to die on and I fear it's not football related why you'd be mad at the Bills still.
