  1. It will be interesting to see if they can get veteran WRs & TEs that are either nearing the end (Gronk or DJax) or coming off an injury riddled season and is only getting Show Me offers (JJSS) on value deals to add weapons on offense. With Sanders and McKenzie hitting FA and the questions about bringing Beasley back at his cap number, Beane might be able to leverage the opportunity to play with Allen into below market contracts for guys that can improve the offense. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/ The cap situation isn't great. They are in the bottom third of league in cap space entering the off season. Beane and company will need to make decisions on guys like Edmunds (1 yr guaranteed at $12.7M), Beasley ($7.5M cap hit vs $1.5M in dead cap if cut), Morse ($11.25M cap hit vs $3.75M in dead cap if cut), and others. It will be interesting to see what moves they make to create more cap space to try and improve this team.
  2. They either need to find a team that will trade for him or they need to extend him and get that cap hit down. Letting him play next season at that number and likely walk as a FA next off season would not be a smart move. Personally, I think trading him is the better move. But, I won't be shocked if he is back.
  3. -How long you've been a Bills fan - like many relationship statuses, it's complicated -How McD can make these Bills a mirror image of the 90s Bills - the mirror image would mean having nobody on the roster that drinks, right? -Your thoughts on a dome - If the NE game didn't end that ridiculous talk, I don't know what will. I never want the Bills to be a soft dome team that teams like Miami have no problem visiting in December and later. -Amount of years you spent as a HS player/coach.- Zero. I have played & coached hockey, though...
  4. Patience in times when things don't go well oftentimes is the better path forward than reacting out of emotion. This team needs the stability that they have at GM, head coach, and QB1. If McDermott and his staff don't learn and grow from this ending of the season like they did with how last season ended (going for it 4 times on 4th down against KC on Sunday after kicking field goals last year), then there needs to be serious questions. But, now is the time to just worry about replacing Deboll and any other coaches that are hired away and trying to improve the roster heading into next season.
  5. My head says no because he probably wouldn't make it through 20 games in one piece. My heart says heck yeah. I am not a jersey guy and I would be tempted to buy a Gronk jersey.
  6. Dorsey as the OC to replace Daboll makes sense for Dorsey and the Bills. For Dorsey, it is a way better career move to be an OC for a defensive head coach and with a QB like Josh Allen. For the Bills, it makes sense from a continuity and keeping your franchise QB happy POV. The only way that Dorsey leaves is if he or the Bills don't think he's ready to be an OC for a defensive head coach like McD. But, I doubt it plays out like that.
  7. This is a reasonable approach to things. I do hope that Beane has a little bit of Les Snead in him this off season and is able to make a splashy move or two to turn the needs that the FAs will create into opportunities to get better. They need to get even better on defense. They also need another weapon or two to help 17 on offense. Hopefully Beane & company can get it done.
  8. If Brady retires, Gronk signing here would be fun to contemplate. I don't know that it would work out as well in reality as it would in theory. But, it would have the chance of being a huge game changer if he can stay healthy and he meshes well with 17.
  9. Beane is not going to move on from McDermott after how close they were to beating KC. McDermott is unlikely to move on from Frazier unless another team hires him away. As fans, all we can hope for is that they make the right moves this off season and this team is better next season. And if KC has to travel to Buffalo in the playoffs...
  10. I doubt they get rid of Frazier. The only way they get a new D coordinator is if Frazier gets a HC job elsewhere this off season. Plus. like others have pointed out, McD was likely heavily involved in the defensive decision making late. If Frazier is fired, it will be a scapegoat move that may not really change much if McD was the real decision maker with the prevent defense on those two plays late.
  11. KC made sure Diggs and Knox didn't beat them. Buffalo needs to figure out how to make sure Hill & Kelce don't beat them.
