  1. The issue is that a lot of college OL never play with their hand on the ground and Buffalo does a fair amount of it.
  2. It will be interesting to see how the draft needs shift throughout early free agency. Right now, here is kind of how I would rank the team needs. IOL IDL CB WR EDGE RB TE QB And even though WR, RB, & TE are lower on the list, I do think that they need to try and add one more offensive weapon that other teams need to worry about as they prepare for the Bills.
  3. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/columnist/mike-freeman/2022/02/08/mike-mcdaniel-miami-dolphins-coach-black/6691026001/ That was a really interesting article.
  4. This is a collectively bargained thing. So, the NFL & the NFLPA agreed to these changes to the off season. It will be interesting to see how the language changes in the next CBA as coaches and some players are not thrilled with the current language.
  5. https://nflpa.com/active-players/off-season-rules This doesn't get into how much contact coaches and players can have outside of OTAs and Minicamp. https://nflpaweb.blob.core.windows.net/website/PDFs/CBA/March-15-2020-NFL-NFLPA-Collective-Bargaining-Agreement-Final-Executed-Copy.pdf Here is the whole CBA if you really want to dig into it. And given that the Bills have the same head coach, I doubt they get a ton of leeway just because they have a new OC and some new position coaches.
  6. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/carolina-panthers/cap/ It looks like his $18.858M in 2022 is fully guaranteed. So, there is no cap savings to cutting him and I doubt the Bills have any interest in an $18M cap hit for a back up QB.
  7. https://bringmethenews.com/minnesota-sports/what-changes-are-coming-to-the-vikings-offensive-line If Rauscher is the next Bills OL coach, here is presser when he was elevated to the Vikings OL coach job last year. [You need to click through to YT]
  8. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/02/04/arbitration-clause-could-quickly-derail-the-brian-flores-lawsuit/ This would be an interesting plot twist. One thing they did say with regards to the Giants job was that the Giants defense that they didn't hire Flores because of Schoen's prior working relationship with Daboll and not because of Flores being a minority would be a strong argument.

One thing that was crazy was how many NFL coaches and coordinators are related to current and former NFL coaches.

  12. https://bringmethenews.com/minnesota-sports/what-changes-are-coming-to-the-vikings-offensive-line I wonder if this gets announced today.
  13. I wish the Bills could have all three helmets, all three jerseys, and all three pants available to create different looks. That is 27 possible different helmet, jersey, and pant combinations. I think the white helmet with the charging buffalo, red jerseys, and white pants would be a cool look. The Red (helmet), White (jersey), and Blue (pants) combo would be cool, too.
  14. The other thing that seems like it would make a lot of sense is that the Bills either trade Edmunds or extend him and lower his 2022 cap hit.
  15. I have a feeling it was a little bit of injuries and a little bit of Brady being in over his head as an NFL OC that early in his coaching career. I think being a QB coach on this staff is a good spot for him to learn and grow. Plus, if he is happy here, he could be the next OC in a few years if the offense continues to hum and Dorsey gets a head coaching job down the road.
  16. I don't think it is realistic to expect Trubisky to be back in 2022. I went with Trevor Siemian because he put up decent numbers in NO this past season while making less than $1M. A vet like Blaine Gabbert wouldn't be a bad idea, either.
  17. The Bills have been known to put a lot of stock in what they see at the Senior Bowl. So, it is not surprising that they did their homework.
  18. That is an insult to DII college uniforms.
  19. I am sure that Dorsey will have his own take on things. Plus, the personnel will change and that will likely allow him to do new things.
  20. The Bills offense under Daboll and the Carolina offense when Dorsey was on the staff there likely have much bigger influences on how Dorsey will do things as OC than what he ran in college.
  21. Gabe Davis was on Richard Sherman's podcast and he had some good things to say about the Dorsey move.
  22. I would say that I am optimistic moving forward. I also would like to see a little bit more Les Snead in Beane. But, I also know that due to the cap situation, we might need to wait a year for a big name impact player like Chandler Jones or Von Miller to be a realistic option.
