  1. On the PFF You Tube they mentioned that Dawand Jones had a disastrous pro day - some teams said they would not draft him in any round.
  2. No sacks in 4 years and zero penalties in 2022 suggests that this guy doesn't make mental mistakes. When you're this big, just being in the right place at the right time is worth a lot.
  3. The one thing that stood out to me this year, was the number of times Josh would throw the ball to a spot and there were 2 WR's within a few feet of each other there. And the two were usually Davis and McKenzie To me, that's most likely a coaching issue. It could be the design of the play by Dorsey and the reads the receivers are making, which would be a Dorsey problem, or it could be what the WR coach is telling them, or it could be that the receivers are incapable of making the correct reads. But there was a clear problem with people not running the correct routes.
  4. I do think there is something to the idea that Damar was actually a downer, not an upper for the team. Players have to be constantly optimistic, even when you're down by 40 in the fourth quarter you've got to believe you can come back - and most of these guys actually do feel this way. So with Damar, you're super optimistic - he's gonna be all right, he'll bounce right back and be the same guy he always was. Now, a few weeks after the injury, he's an old man on oxygen. Yes he's alive and thank the Lord for that. But while we didn't get a disastrous ending with Damar, we're not going to get a happy ending either. And when you also add in "that could of been me", it takes a mental toll. A lot of people are expecting to see a few retirements this year, not necessarily all (or even any) from the Bills, due to what happened to Damar. It has to weigh on you.
  5. Any team that has a Josh Allen has a chance
  6. I'm wondering if one reason to get Hyde into the 21 day practice window is that now he can actually be on the field and participate with the other DB's - hearing what the coaches are saying and possibly interpreting it for the other players now and on game day. If he isn't in the window then he has to be "off to the side" and cant participate as fully. Even if they believe right now there is 0% chance of Hyde playing in the next 3 games, it costs nothing to get him "activated". The only drawback is they must fully activate him the day after the AFCCG or he is on season ending IR. And it's possible they might have activated him if they had an extra week but can't bring themselves to pull the trigger on that day.
  7. Actually I was a little critical of the swiping they were doing. The place to focus was the kicker's plant foot and where he was standing before the kick - and while the plant area was clear, he was still standing in snow at the snap. Something they can coach up for future home games. Certainly the effort was highly praiseworthy.
  8. In that article you linked to (https://spreadoffensefootball.com/counter-trey-with-jet-motion/) the play was designed for the ball carrier to go between the Guard and Tackle, which Hines did not do. Do you think the play was intended to actually go wide or did Hines read it wrong?
