  1. Here is one thing O'Halloran says about that:
  2. Ryan O'Halloran: Free-agent, cap situation means Brandon Beane has to get defensive in draft https://buffalonews.com/sports/professional/nfl/bills/ryan-ohalloran-free-agent-cap-situation-means-brandon-beane-has-to-get-defensive-in-draft/article_2992c608-ba1b-11ee-8957-5731c06753d8.html That doesn't seem to jibe with the general sentiment on this board. Please read the article first, then discuss.
  3. Well, creating twitter fodder is basically their job description.
  4. No offensive coordinator in the league will turn down a great WR if one is available. He might lean more to running than passing, but put CeeDee Lamb or JaMarr Chase or Justin Jefferson on his team and he'll find a way to toss him a few passes.
  5. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/charles-joughin-titanic-anniversary-april-15-drunk This actually happened.
  6. Note that this occurred after the Chargers game at the end of the regular season, not this week's Bills game
  7. https://theathletic.com/5215245/2024/01/22/chiefs-bills-nfl-divisional-playoffs-ravens-lions/ Pretty telling statistic
  8. I'd love the Bills to take a WR in round 1, but don't know the college players myself so wouldn't hazard a guess on who we should or shouldn't take. If a WR is there that we have ranked at least in top 35 overall I'd have to consider him, but don't want to reach, especially if a guy we have ranked in top 20 fell to us even if at a different position. Here is Bucky Brooks mock draft - he has us taking Cooper DeJean at 28 (DB from Iowa) https://www.nfl.com/news/bucky-brooks-2024-nfl-mock-draft-1-0 Here are the pass catchers he mocks in the first round 4 - WR Marvin Harrison Jr to Arizona 5 - TE Brock Bowers to LA Chargers 6 - WR Rome Odunze to NY Giants 15 - WR Malik Nabers to Indianapolis 18 - WR Brian Thomas Jr to Concinnati 26 - WR Keon Coleman to Tampa Bay
  9. That was last year - we did not play the Bucs this season
  10. I do think that point is spot on. The Chiefs defense tonight is MUCH better than the one they fielded in the 13 second game. And especially the coverage on Gabe Davis in that game - the DB covering Davis was horrible.
  11. What if the Bills do it first?
  12. On the play where he got run over, he was obviously willing. It takes some guts to stand there and get blasted by a bigger dude. After the game in an interview, he said his feet were cold when he first went in from just standing around on the sideline. Until the INT he was clearly bad throughout his first drive. But at least from watching the TV, the only other time I can recall him on a play was on the INT that he dropped, and that wasn't an easy catch. Generally, a CB who doesn't get his name called must be doing something right. He was quite below average in the early part of the season, which the Bills have attributed to his ankle injury (at least publicly). Hopefully he will have more to offer if called upon again during the playoffs.
  13. It's still going to be bad weather. Just not horrendous weather.
  14. I would think that Peacock was given the choice of which game they wanted, since they ponied up so much cash for the right to have this exclusive. And the Peacock game was always going to be Saturday night. The NFL in general LOVES these games in bad weather. Makes for great TV, especially in places that don't really experience winter.
  15. I must admit I did not consider the possibility of frozen locusts falling from the sky. I only considered the possibility of the locusts flying into the stadium on their own. Excellent point!
  16. Locusts are cold blooded. No chance at all that locusts affect this game. Hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, Kraken are all on the table. But no locusts.
  17. With the weather emergency being declared, it's possible I-90 gets closed at some point. If a tornado develops inside the stadium during the game, is that better for us or the Steelers?
  18. Will this be the first NFL game ever played in the middle of a Cat 5 Hurricane?
  19. Yes about the snow. But wind is different - it pushes the ball some place that the QB doesn't want it to go.
  20. If you are just adding up weeks 12-18, then the Bills played one less game in that stretch. Pittsburgh had their Bye in Week 6 - the Bills in week 13
  21. I think he's missed a practice a week for a little while. I had Jaylen Warren on my fantasy team so I paid attention to Harris's status. At the moment I assume this is just continuing the pattern. If he misses Friday that would be a bigger deal.
  22. I think there's also a psychological point to this. Benching him now would put some negative vibes into the o-line. He knows that the fumble was on him and so does everybody else. Let him overcome that with the help of his mates.
  23. Terron Armstead does not have an injury designation for the game. He was Full Practice on Friday. Same for Liam Eichenberg (Center) and Robert Hunt (Guard) and Austin Jackson (OT) Tyreek Hill was also a Full Practice on Friday, although he was seen in a boot on Thursday at his home when dealing with the aftermath of the fire there. https://www.rotowire.com/football/practice-report.php?team=MIA
  24. 75 yard TD to Collins
  25. Well, it's tied right now. Just need it to stay that way for the next 70 minutes.
