I'll say it again. I supported the Diggs trade. I still do. But the fact that Beane, either through draft, off season signings, or trades, has not addressed the overwhelming need for a true boundary receiver is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. If people on here think we are going to be to get to and win the SB with that wr room, they are simply being Pollyanna. Terribly disappointed we are wasting a HOF all time QBs prime career.

But that's my point. Ross wants him to continue to be the coach. If he mandates that, no established GM is going to touch the job. More likely the " interim" GM will then get it because he will go along with what Ross wants.

Diane Russini in the Athletic today( paywall), states that McDaniel is safe, that ownership has confidence in him and wants him to stay. So that's good news...for Bills fans. And no decent GM is going to be attracted to that job with having to be stuck with him and Tua from the get go.

I think Beane is a very good GM. And most of the " experts " and also his peers in the league agree. But to not have addressed the #1 WR since the trade if Diggs by now is maddening at the least. He had sooo many chances in the draft and FA and trade market and just didn't get it done. With a future HOF qb I simply am astounded by this
