  1. Yeah but it would just encourage the Thunderstruck drinking game and nothing good comes of that.
  2. I’ve really come to enjoy the sound of the AMT tweeters that are in my dedicated home theater room setup. They are Golden Ears and they came up with some in house marketing name for them, something like folded ribbons. Anchored by tower fronts and their largest center with bookshelf’s and satellites to round out a full 7.2.4 system. They seem to combine the high volume and efficiency of some horn speakers with the warmth and detail of more traditional domes. Works out great for both movies and critical 2 channel music listening in a theater setup.
  3. I said it earlier and so did a bunch of others, that for a bathroom higher quality doesn’t matter much. But getting back to audiophile topic… in a good acoustic room, once you get into the world of AV separates, a whole new audio world opens up and it’s easy to go down a rabbit hole.
  4. I’ll write a strongly worded letter.
  5. It sounded like she said land of the brave instead of free…. But the way she sang made it a bit hard to tell.
  6. This is probably also a good time to tell you that 8pm est game is on Prime too, not a broadcast channel.
  7. Honestly, I do have a lot of high end audio equipment in a few rooms in my house, but the bathroom is not where I would want to spend any significant money or effort on anything high end or complicated. A few years ago the motor in my bedroom's bathroom's exhaust fan burnt out and needed to be replaced. I spend probably ~150 bucks on one that had a Bluetooth speaker built in and multi-colored dimmable led lighting. The traditional fan wall switch was bypassed so the fan (and really, the speaker) have constant electricity going in. The traditional wall switch then gets replaced by a battery operated remote control that just looks like a switch but can control all the other features. Bluetooth from our phone works fine and its simple. Don't really need much more than that for having background music on while showering or pinching one off.
  8. If we assume he is using his punctuation correctly, then he is saying he has a coaching commitment he needs to get to. He has enough children to assume at least one of them plays in a pee wee league. He probably volunteers as an assistant.
  9. I hope they tuned up those backpack leave blowers to blow the 7 feet of snow off the hash marks.
  10. That looked like a dislocated shoulder there on the kick return coverage.
  11. And who would've thought? It figures…
  12. My comment about his legacy was more of just a lead into that interview video with the kid where he just goes real dark real fast.
  13. Nah his legacy is the same, his pockets just got lined. speaking of his legacy: https://youtu.be/0jA3fKMiKMs?si=jBmZJnpibeVFP2O4
  14. For full disclosure, I did doze off for about 20 minutes waiting for the ladies fight to start and missed the start of it so it may have had issues I didn’t see. I streamed through Apple TV that’s hardwired Ethernet to a network switch, spectrum internet.
  15. I have to say, for everyone saying they had problems with the Netflix streaming, mine worked great. No buffering, no pixelation, no delays. It actually looked really clear for me the whole time, and my house does have some issues with internet lagging and dropping sometimes.
  16. He came out wearing a bath towel with a hole cut out in the middle.
  17. “Where else would you rather be than right here, right now” …I guess at home watching WWII documentaries will suffice
  18. It is much more volatile and speculative than traditional investments but is worth it to have some exposure for it in your portfolio if you can absorb the higher risk. Buying a whole bit coin is expensive, but it is easy to get exposure through an ETF that holds only Bitcoin as it's asset. Gives the ability to invest just small increments there and still get the benefits (similar to ETFs on all sorts of commodities).
