This. Unless Allen has a few plays a game where he scrambles and breaks a game open, we are cooked. Teams are going to take away Diggs and while Gabe was clutch in the playoffs last year, he’s not the most reliable guy. We don’t have a running game to fall back on either. Add in the fact that our D is overrated despite looking good from a DVOA perspective, and I’m not that confident going forward. The homers on this site get their panties in a wad if you are even a little critical of Beane. While he’s been really good, the reason we aren’t going to win it all comes down to his many misses in the draft and his constant refusal to invest in the offfense, specifically the OL. He burned 2nd rounders on guys that dont produce enough like Boogie and Epenesa, those picks should be paying off right now. Then ignoring the OL through the draft and completely wasting a pick on Bernard was the cherry on top for me. Just an awful pick. This draft HAS TO BE FOCUSED ON WEAPONS AND OFFENSIVE LINE this year.. but I’m betting beane drafts a safety. Yes every team has warts but agree with what others have said that we are all in. We invested in Von because our window is now. Unfortunately, KC is in our way and they’ll have home games again throughout the playoffs. Add in the fact that they got multiple picks from MIA in the Tyreek deal and they’re set up to continue dominating with how great their GM is.

Granted the cardinals have given up on this year but looking at the stats Jimmy is 20/29, 228 yards 4 TDs, 132 rating. People laughed at me when I said the 49ers are the stone cold lock to go to the Super Bowl because they lazily say Jimmy can’t win it all. Such a bad take. They’re so loaded he doesn’t have to do it all. Best roster in the nfl and it’s not close. Chiefs beat them earlier this season but I’m not sure anyone is touching them the rest of this season. Schedule is so damn easy the rest of the way too.

I can’t rationalize anything beyond Bills by 4 points or less. Cook broke that long run, so it’s scary to say what Chubb is going to do. I’ll say they put up 175 yards rushing and control the game since Frazier won’t switch from nickel anyways

I’ve been trying to figure out who this team compares to and this is it. 2000s Chargers is perfect comparison. Always talented but you knew they’d blow it and you knew Rivers (like Josh) would make some dumb plays while also putting up stats. Throw in the fact that somehow you knew some crazy bad luck was going to happen in each game for both franchises and you have your perfect comparison. I would say our coaching is just as bad if not worse than those teams. Add in the fact that the chiefs are basically the patriots of that time (better coached, always come through in the clutch, etc) and you see how this story ends.

I texted my brother and told him to not look away because somehow he was going to see some kind of loss that even we haven’t seen before. And the bills never fail to deliver failure in unique ways.
