They’re playing a Mickey Mouse team today but no one is beating SF. I actually think they’re going undefeated. They have 4 guys that are going to be HOFs (Bosa, CMC, Trent Williams, and Warner). Several other elite guys. It’s insane. Hargrave, Huguanga, Deebo, Kittle, Ward, Aiyuk. Without injuries, no one has a shot.

Correct. The only team in the NFC thats worth being in the overall SB conversation is the 49ers and that’s because they’re going to win the SB barring injuries.

Perfectly said. When teams take away the big plays in the playoffs, we will be wishing for something easy for josh. Or hell, if there’s bad weather, it’d be nice to have easy stuff to rely on and not just long developing, high difficulty throws.

Bengals get back on track tonight, looks like burrow plays. Tampa wins too, I just don’t think much of hurts and especially that pass defense. Think evans has a big game against them and the conversation starts to shift to “who should we worry about more, eagles or cowboys” on all the morning shows tmr.

Anything that keeps chains moving and makes Josh’s life easier is fine with me. Something reliable like short crosses that the other 31 teams use would be nice. Our offense is great but man it requires josh to be incredible or it doesn’t work and it just can’t be all that to win 3 straight playoff games against good teams. Gotta have easy stuff in the playbook too

Then let’s call some simple short crossers that act as de facto pick routes on 3rd and 4th and short like every other team does. They’re simple and virtually unstoppable and lead to big gains. My biggest gripe with Dorsey’s offense is how difficult he schemes things up for josh and never gives him the easy stuff.

Agree. But it’s not fair to compare our YAC to MIA or SF. They’re unreal at it. But we all watch other games. It is annoying how every other team has guys that take a 5 yard dump off and get 9 or 10 while we get taken down immediately. It matters because teams are going to continue to give us the short stuff and if we can’t make them pay with YAC and make Josh’s job easier, then we will struggle against good defenses.

I was talking about josh in general but agree with your point. Surely though you see what I’m saying. QB is the most important position for the other 31 teams but literally hardly matters for SF. Even if Brock gets hurt, they’ll be fine with Darnold. As far as CMC goes, while he was hurt, some of that was being on crappy panthers teams and shutting it down early. His dad played for Shanahans dad so the relationship was there and I’m sure that was discussed. Niners were fortunate in that respect, as they were in the trade originally to get Jimmy G. I took ***** this summer saying “it’s over” for the rest of the league now that KS has all this time to scheme ways to use CMC in this offense but I meant it. Not only do I have money on them to win it all, I sprinkled a little bit on them to go undefeated this year too just for fun. Unfortunately well get the giants at full strength. They just don’t matter without Saquan.

My biggest gripe with Beane. He sits on his hands instead of getting the best RB and weapon in the league. Niners got him for Pennie’s considering the impact he has. They haven’t lost a game with him other than when they had no QB. And even in that game he was great. He’s a cheat code and why they’re winning it all. It’s actually annoying that no one has figured out what to do against the last pick of the draft but I said that for years when Brady started too. Just like Brady, purdy throws balls that should be picked but never are for some reason. Yet when josh throws a bad ball it’s always picked. Purdy somehow has 0 picks this year but I’ve seen him throw at least 10 bad passes that should be picked off. I can’t explain it. But with those weapons he only needs to throw it 3 yards and the YAC guys will do all the work. Meanwhile josh is having to be Superman every week. It’s annoying.

Yep. Best skill guys in the league, all with elite YAC ability, plus the best offensive mind in the league dialing it up. Not sure what you can do to stop it. Answer: you really can’t. Just hope for injuries.

I’m going to assume you’ve just never watched them or how well they block especially run blocking. They can do it in their sleep even their WRs. Blocking is not a problem for them like it is for us.

This is the other reason they’re going to win it. Not only the most talented team but they have luck. This is what powered the patriots for 20 years. Good coaching but a TON of luck on their side over and over again. Purdy has the horseshoe now
