  1. And yet AGAIN you are talking about the outcome rather than the ease with which they moved the ball. You have the luxury of knowing the ultimate outcome, but that was ridiculous what we witnessed tonight.
  2. My mistake, not lukewarm. Frigid like a Bills game in January.
  3. Muted for being clueless but keep making excuses for a defense that didn't adapt and was scared of that receiving Corp. I'm sure you were saying it wasn't the ridiculous play calling that led to the 13 seconds fiasco too.
  4. What kind of lukewarm IQ must you have to keep responding to someone who has literally told you that you are ignored? If that was what was working for them you'd better bet your butt they would, especially when the yardage they were ripping off was the same as pass plays would be. You must have been watching a different game.
  5. Once again you are comparing the outcome of the drives instead of focusing on how easy they moved the ball. Not even remotely the same thing at all.
  6. Mahomes can make those throws and run the ball. The D was lackluster tonight and the D play calling did not match what the O was doing. You play to the strengths and weaknesses of the other team. GBs receivers are not good yet we were treating them like it was Diggs on their side. Their formations repeatedly showed pass and that's what you play for. If you have the better secondary, you make their receivers beat you, not play nickel and let their RBs rip off runs that were equivalent to long passes. That's playing scared instead of playing to your strengths and daring the other team to put their weakness up against a stronger secondary. I see you've quit trying to debate on substance and decided to switch to ad hominem. Welcome to ignore.
  7. At what point in any of that did you think they were passing? Their formations screamed run and if you're that scared of THAT receiving corps, who's essentially a bunch of nobodies, why are you coaching in this league? Yes, it was strange and seemed like they weren't too concerned about the clock, but what is our coaching staff so afraid of? Their receivers are their weakness. If they are effectively running, make those receivers beat you. No need to play nickel D when the formation screams run just on the off chance that one play they go play action. Have some faith in the secondary against a weak receiving Corp.
  8. And that same pass is something that Mahomes can do as well. If the D plays like they did tonight the next time they play KC, we will lose. Let's leave it at that.
  9. You're lumping multiple drives together where they either didn't convert or came away with a fg. Bottom line is the run game was just as effective as a pass game there and the defense did not adjust accordingly. If the offense's weakness is their receiving Corp, you make THEM beat you and plug up run. You shouldn't have to play nickel defense every down if the receivers are the weakness of the other team.
  10. If they are gashing the D that is no different than running effective pass plays. You adapt to what the offense is doing. If you are letting them rip off huge chunks of yards on the ground, you might as well make their receivers beat you since the receiving core is GBs big weakness right now.
  11. What they were giving up on the ground, they might as well have been giving up through the air since the yardage gained was pass like yardage. We knew they were running but the D still couldn't stop it. That is rigid play calling and shows a lack of ability to adapt to what the offense is doing. The play calling tonight was questionable on both sides of the ball and the Bills won because they are simple a much better team than GB, but bad execution and play calling kept this game closer than it should've been. This game should've played out how the Pittsburgh game did the second half.
  12. You can claim they would've done this or that, but the fact is they were getting gouged and that was typical of Frazier not being able to adapt to what the opposing offense is doing. And if you know you're down those players, you must adapt. Letting the other team rip off 10 , 20 yard runs is effectively the same as a passing game. You tell the D line to play the run, not the pass. It seemed like our D line was playing the pass all night. It seemed as though our D, especially D line, was playing the pass when you knew they were going to keep running the ball. I blame the D play calling.
  13. No, I'm sure the Pack knew they weren't going to win, but to give up those kind of chunks of yards on the ground against a team that thinks they can play nickel D and still stop the run, that was not a good showing.
  14. That's only because they didn't execute on those drive ending plays. That doesn't change the fact a team with a poor receiving core right now was able to gouge our D for way too many big plays on the ground.
  15. He was in no-man's land and you know he wanted to run, but was conflicted. To me, that's from being told not to run. We've gotten to where we are letting Josh be Josh. Don't screw up the recipe.
  16. Yep, said earlier that if you sew that seed of doubt in the QB'S mind and make him question if he should run when the run was there , that's their result. Let Josh be Josh.
  17. McD acknowledged they didn't play their best ball tonight and didn't make it seem all rosie and rainbows, so I'm glad they realize they have some rust to knock off after the bye. Time to clean that up and put them away. The second half of this game should've been like the Pittsburgh game with a quick put them away and move on.
  18. The Bills have become accustomed to believing they can stop the run and play nickel D at the same time. They didn't do a good job of that tonight. Seeing 1st downs+ ripped off run after run was not what I wanted to see and those become as good as pass plays from a team playing from behind.
  19. It was working for them though. If you can't pass, do what is working and they were chewing off huge chunks of yards on the ground. More than I would like to see. They essentially turned the needed pass plays into effective run plays. The Bills might like to think they can play nickel D all the time and still stop the run, but they didn't do a good job of it tonight.
  20. The D I think got in the heads of the offense tonight. Some strange play calling in the second half and Josh was definitely off in the 2nd half. Regardless, a win is a win is a win. Knock the rust off from the bye and get back in the groove.
  21. Win or lose, the worst 2nd half of the season. Players letting the D get in their heads, Josh clearly off with throws and poor play calling. The bye is only good for getting guys healthy.
  22. We are sloppy on both sides of the ball. Execution and play calling. No question.
  23. Josh has had it beat into his head so much not to run, that's what happens.
  24. I wouldn't want Toney at all. Bad attitude and doesn't seem to have a good work ethic from what I've seen. Sometimes I think Bills fans are like a kid that just got an allowance, and the money is burning a hole in their pocket. Don't know what they want to spend it on, but they have to buy something. If it's a legit player who makes sense to Beane, I'm all for it, but it's like some people want to get somebody just for the sake of saying we made a move. I don't get it.
