I was thinking more on the lines of another punter. How can we go all season with a guy that's only done his job a handful of times so far this year?

Gap discipline appeared to be lacking on several of the long runs from what I could see. It appeared as though most of the line was more intent on getting up field to rush the passer than stay and home in their gap assignments and plug the holes. Hopefully it was just rust from the bye, but when a team is running like that on you, it all starts at the point of attack and if the D-linemen are essentially taking themselves out of the play because they didn't stay home, that makes it easy for the O-line to get into the LBs and secondary, where only bad things are going to happen.

From the playing time he's had, he looks pretty good to me.

And just a few weeks ago, lots of people on this board were borderline calling him a bust.

I thought with everyone on the D line back healthy, we'd be able to stop that. Obviously, that wasn't the case.

Trying to only use point scored with the run game, like some people are trying to paint this discussion as, is a very deceiving stat though. If that was the case, every team the Bills play can say they gave up next to no points running. The run can setup the pass, so for people simply to claim "but they didn't score points running the ball" is completely disingenuous. The Bills rarely do either.

Considering they weren't even really trying to pass, saying the Bills were really good in Nickel is a stretch. And the times they did, they burned the nickel. So, it's probably not as great as you're saying it is.

No,actually the Packers weak receiving corps is what has made their HOF MVP QB irrelevant in the passing game. They are 3-5 for a reason and Rodgers displeasure with the offense has been quite public. You have to be living under a rock to not know this. But yes, keep thinking it was because of the Bills D that they couldn't throw the ball. The Packers knew they couldn't throw the ball before the game even started and instead of forcing them to, the Bills decide letting them gash the D on the ground was the better option.

Nah, you aren't calling anyone out because anyone with two eyes could plainly see the Bills played a terrible 2nd half of football against a bad team and the Bills failure to adapt to what the offense was doing made what should've been a blowout, barely a 10 pt win. Missed FG and a weak OPI was the only difference from the game being a nailbiter to the very end. I don't remember the same comfortable win you apparently do.
