I'm sure he's going to want a lot of guaranteed money, which I think would be a mistake for whoever signs him. I'm down for signing him, but only with an incentive-heavy contract. A guy coming of a second ACL tear of the same knee is going to be a huge question mark when it comes to performance and durability over the course of a 17-game season. As far as this season goes, we have no idea what kind of shape he's in and he's probably looking for a long-term contract, so he may not even do a rental for the remainder of this season.

The good news is most starting linemen in the league weren't drafted in the first round, so you can get great talent after the 1st round as well. Beane definitely has some tough calls to make, but I have faith he makes the right ones.

The whole "hasn't allowed a sack" is nonsense when you have a QB like JA17. I've seen Saffold miss blocks and the only reason Josh didn't get whacked was because of Josh's legs. If he expects to be paid like a top guard in the NFL, I think he's in for a rude awakening.

Does that mean he gives us the home team discount? He's been OK, but he shouldn't be paid like a Pro Bowl Guard because his play this season isn't at that level.
