  1. Adding to this problem is the fact that suites typically make up 20% of ticket revenue for large market teams. And more importantly, this revenue doesn’t need to be shared with the opponent, like regular seats. In Buffalo, there simply is not enough businesses willing to shell out hundreds of thousands of dollars to put their name on a suite door, which makes up the revenue in larger venues.
  2. The shape is literally that of a toilet bowl. The egress resembles a department store. There is no roof. It is a football-only facility. These negatives were all seen as "cost of doing business" due to saving a significant amount of money. However, now we find out that the total cost will come close to other stadiums that have a roof, are not shaped like a toilet bowl, are convertible to other entertainment, etc. It is a massive blunder and it's upsetting.
  3. I wish it were a joke. But it's not. It is reality. This will go down as among the largest blunders in New York State history and top three in Buffalo history. The design is terrible, the funding mismanaged, and taxpayers should be outraged that we are receiving less for our dollar than our taxpayers nation wide.
  4. Titans are getting this beatiful structure for $2.1B We are getting the toilet bowl for $1.9B Maddening.
  5. I’ll let others answer your local questions, but as to the ticket, I suggest waiting until you arrive at the stadium. I am often able to find club tickets for significantly less by purchasing close to game time, via the Ticketmaster resale app. The Jim Kelly club is wonderful in that the majority of the seats (rows 8 and up) are shaded from sun, rain, etc. Have a great time. PS, by sitting on the Kelly Club side, you’re looking at the Bills sideline across from you. You can see them sub-in, facial expressions, make decisions, etc. Instead of staring at their backs.
  6. That throw is absurd. Allen routinely attempts passes that very few QB’s in NFL history could dream of converting. When a human drives a football on a rope like that, they engage the brachialis, forearm flexor, extensor muscles and ucl. Suffice it to say, his elbow is healed.
  7. Yeah I noticed it was a bit slower without me . Threads from several days ago still on the front page right now? Oof! Just kidding of course. But contradictory points do tend to spur conversation along.
  8. It's nice to be missed. I'm ok. Thank you.
  9. Message boards have seen a significant decline in popularity over the past decade, a trend that leaves me somewhat disheartened. I have a preference for traditional message boards like TBD, rather than platforms rooted in social media. However, I do recognize why many individuals are drawn to platforms like Reddit. It provides a uniform UX/UI experience, allowing users to access all 32 NFL team subreddits with a single login and effortlessly crosspost between them, among other features. As for true message boards, ChiefsPlanet is very popular, though it is a rough crowd.
  10. Assuming your data is correct, this also shows that there is little correlation between the round we draft a player and their rookie play time. Plugging your data into a regression analysis: We receive a summary output of: The coeffecient obviously has no practical meaning in this context, however the F-stat of 1.8 with a p-value of 0.2 shows that the regression model is not statistically significant at a 0.05 significance level. The r square backs this up with only 9.09% of the variation in the playing time explained by the round drafted. In other words the draft round does not account for a significant portion of the variation observed in the percentage of snaps played by rookies. This coaching staff is just as likely to start a 5th rounder as a 2nd rounder. 3 draft classes is 50% of Beane's draft classes. That is a significant number. This could be re-hypothesized as "Opinion seems to be influenced by the last 3 draft classes. The reality is that our draft choices have not been as strong in recent years."
  11. here you go. or just go back to pretending that you're a jets fan on jetnation.
  12. Purchased that home in a very different portion of my life and there are lots of special memories in that home that I'm not willing to let go.
  13. Sorry if you didn't realize it, but the post you quoted was talking about Florida homes. It never occurred to me that you quoted a post about Florida homes but meant a home in NY. I've posted before that my WNY home is only $250k. It's nothing special.
  14. Ohhh you're talking about my house in WNY... Yes, I posted decorations there. You responded to a post talking about Florida homes and said "didnt you post your home?" Bit confusing.
  15. There would be quotes from other posters that I couldn't delete. It didn't exist. I apologize about making whatever I made up about you. I don't even remember what you're speaking of, but it's clearly hurting you, so I apologize regardless.
  16. I don't know, I haven't done the research on that yet. But that wasn't your argument, so it's irrelevant. You said it costs less to produce a paper today than in 1990. Which isn't true. You're only changing your narrative to focus on inflation-adjusted now that you realize you were wrong. You said the inflated PRICE is right (the $28 they charge now compared to $12.50 back then), but that their COST is lower. Which is 100% wrong. Their production costs DID skyrocket. You are 100% wrong. You were trying to make the argument that - yes, they raised the price along with inflation, but theircosts are less now, so they shouldn't have to raise their price that much. You're not fooling anyone. But I honestly don't think you have the computational ability to understand this, so i'm going to let it go. You can have the last word. .
  17. This is where you're moving the goal post to. At no point before today, did you EVER say that you want me to prove that the 2023 cost should exceed inflation. You said: "You really think it costs more to print a paper than in 1990?" and "you go about your business thinking it costs more money to print paper than 1990" - What a Tuel I said: "Due to inflation which has caused wages, ink, paper, etc all to climb." I mentioned inflation several times, as being the primary factor. The only mention of inflation you ever made was that the inflated PRICE (how much they are charging) is right, but you said the COST is less.
  18. I have never posted my home. Feel free to link the post you're talking about. Of course by that point you'll realize it wasn't me.
  19. No I never showed my home, that was someone else. But in general, Florida vacation homes you don't get a lot for what you pay. $3M will get you the equivalent of a $700k Orchard Park home.
