Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Einstein replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
The NFL found a way to make it work for Jacksonville. They could find a way to make it work for Buffalo too - if they wanted to. Will they? No. Especially not without a downtown stadium. -

A better comparison may be Jacksonville. They hosted a Super Bowl and is very comparable to Buffalo in size. Jacksonville even had to bring in cruise ships to add more hotel rooms. -
Is the MLB Competition Over Before It Started?
Einstein replied to JackKemp's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saying that is acceptable. But saying the Bills gave up more points in those games, on average, is not acceptable? -

And there are not multiple variables in your 4-0 comment? You’re flailing. -

You noted that the team was 4-0 with Dodson, indicating that you believe his performance contributed to that record. Then why I posted the stats from those wins, suddenly the MLB is not part of the defensive performance? Uhm… -

You’re making a great point for why Klein should start. -

In your opinion it is a bad opinion. Do you see the problem? It’s a circular argument. -

But some perspective. Our defense averages 16.7 ppg last season when Dodson did not start. Dodson started against Goff and gave up 25. Dodson started against Brissett and gave up 23. The only game our defense (with Dodson) didn’t do worse than our average was against Pittsburgh with them starting their rookie QB for the first time ever. -

Agreed. We better hope our DL is strong enough to not allow many runners to reach the second level. -

Yep. Same here. The excuse I have received is that mods are tired of having to get notified that a post of mine was “reported”. 1) Who in their right mind is so insecure that they are reporting people who have a different opinion than them, on the internet!? 2) All you need is enough people not liking your opinion (and therefore clicking the ‘report’ button), to get a mod annoyed enough to warn a poster. If I was the mod, I would be warning the poster who consistently keeps hitting the report button for non-TOS issues. When you can essentially silence people with opposing viewpoints by clicking a button. That’s a very broken system. -

Funny how that works, isn’t it? Quite the double standard at times. If you’re in agreement with the Bills decision making (on any topic), you’re a great poster. If you disagree, you’re an idiot. Two posters can debate for several pages. The poster that defends the Bills is just posting. The poster deemed “negative” will be considered crusading. It’s not your fault for thinking that. The way PSE has handled parts of the stadium process has been bungled from a PR standpoint. We *still* don’t have detailed renderings or a fly through video, yet stadiums that were approved several months after ours have already released these. We sure like to do things differently here. And the way PSE flies through executive management, it’s a wonder what is going on inside. -

Has there been a training camp that he didn’t look great? The problem is that his hands turn to butter when the regular season starts. 2020 2021 2022

Training Camp - 8/10 - 9:45am - Final day at Fisher (No Pads)

Kincaid is the real deal. His awareness level is top-notch and his hands are magnets. He also shows great balance, which is something you see with great Tight Ends like Kelce. I place his chance-of-bust percentage at approximately 1%. -

8 weeks after being traded to the team is fairly "instant". He was traded on August 29th and was playing by October 27th. That's only 59 days. In the NFL, that's about as instant as it gets. It's going to take several weeks just to learn a whole new playbook. -

"When you're not in full pads, technique, fundamentals, eye discipline, knowing what your body is supposed to do, how you're breathing out there, that all matters" - NFL Coach Jonathan Gannon “... when you finally do get the opportunity to put the pads on and practice, you’ve already worked through technique multiple times beforehand so that you’re ready to go once the pads go on.” - NFL linemen Ben Bredeson "Communication and assignment is a huge thing for us with no pads, obviously in the technique. You go out there every day and you try to focus on the technique." - Offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi -

Ubered. Kincaid's hands are like magnets. The anti-Gabe Davis. -

Just left camp. Allen was under constant pressure - without pads. Which worries me, since without pads, it's more about technique. And the d-line's technique was blowing away the o-lines. I sure hope it was a one day anomaly because if not, we are in for a long season. I was also able to see first hand why so many people are concerned about the backup QB position. If Allen ever goes down, we are ****ed. And i'm not talking about a full season - even if we need them for only a game or two - bad news. -

Adding to this problem is the fact that suites typically make up 20% of ticket revenue for large market teams. And more importantly, this revenue doesn’t need to be shared with the opponent, like regular seats. In Buffalo, there simply is not enough businesses willing to shell out hundreds of thousands of dollars to put their name on a suite door, which makes up the revenue in larger venues. -

The shape is literally that of a toilet bowl. The egress resembles a department store. There is no roof. It is a football-only facility. These negatives were all seen as "cost of doing business" due to saving a significant amount of money. However, now we find out that the total cost will come close to other stadiums that have a roof, are not shaped like a toilet bowl, are convertible to other entertainment, etc. It is a massive blunder and it's upsetting. -

I wish it were a joke. But it's not. It is reality. This will go down as among the largest blunders in New York State history and top three in Buffalo history. The design is terrible, the funding mismanaged, and taxpayers should be outraged that we are receiving less for our dollar than our taxpayers nation wide.
