  1. Meanwhile we have Dorsey, err I mean Brady, running the same plays in the same situation that we have run all year, in the AFCCG. I especially enjoyed watching him run the same QB sneak over and over and over again that KC was stuffing. And running the same 4th down mesh play all year.
  2. Smoke and mirrors, and I mean it. Those defenses were very good in the regular season and AWFUL in the playoffs. Again, smoke and mirrors. In those 9 other playoff games that were not against KC, we played Blake Bortles, Skyler Thompson, Mac Jones, Mason Rudolph, Rookie Bo Nix, Playoff Lamar, etc. The only great QB we played in those 9 other games was Joe Burrow and we gave up 27 points. We have had one of the easiest stretches of wildcard play in history.
  3. You won’t find a bigger Josh Allen fan than me.
  4. This I can agree with. At some point his physical freak-ness will begin to wane and he will win with his mind. We really do need to take advantage of the next 5 years.
  5. This false narrative needs to go. It was only supposed to be a “learning” year for the media. That’s it. No one inside the organization had any goal other than Super Bowl.
  6. Carter was a healthy scratch down the stretch. He came off the injury report on December 8th and then was made inactive 4 of the last 6 games. And in a 5th game he never made it onto the field.
  7. 2021: Taking Boogie Basham over Creed Humphrey was an all time screw up. 2022: Took Elam. Allowed KC to jump in front of us and take All-Pro McDuffie. Pro Bowl Tackle Tyler Smith went one pick after Elam. Pro Bowl (and one of the best int the NFL) Center Tyler Lindenbaum went 2 picks after Elam. 2023: Took Kincaid. Defensive rookie of the year finalist Joey Porter Jr went after. Offensive rookie of the year finalist LaPorta went after him too. To be fair, Porter had an up-and-down second year too.
  8. Beane and McD had fairly critical tones of Coleman in the postseason press conference. I don’t think they’re too happy with him.
  9. That’s genuinely shocking to me. I like Beane as a human being but having a GM who has never actually scouted players has to be a handicap. No wonder we whiff on so many early picks, and give our arch-nemesis the players they want.
  10. I for one never knew that Beane was never a scout. That’s pretty eye-opening to me.
  11. This is a real phenomena.
  12. You should see his tape from the Super Bowl. Brutal. His get-off from the line was slow and there were entire plays where Mahomes was running around and Kelce just stood there. Its probably in the Bills best interest that he keeps playing.
  13. Turns out he BARELY won the MVP. Only got 60% of the votes. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/jalen-hurts-got-12-of-20-super-bowl-mvp-votes
  14. your lack of knowledge of the subject is preventing you from understanding what you’re arguing. Press man can be played in zone or straight man coverage. Read the OP again.
  15. Yeah that’s what I said. No they weren’t. We barely played press at all. Eagles ran a mix of zone and man. With a ton of press and bail technique (which counts as zone in statistics but is actually a mix of zone and man). Id like to believe that, but Benford played the first drive where the Chiefs walked down the field with ease.
  16. Then you should re-watch the game. Because the defense won it.
  17. Chris Jones should have been last years MVP. I'm fine with Hurts winning this years MVP, but I honestly think half of the QB's in the NFL could have won that game yesterday.
  18. This was before the game. Turns out having Patrick f'ing Mahomes only made matters worse.
  19. Are any of you bothering to read what I actually wrote, or just making up stuff in your head to respond to? I never said the Bills played soft-zone. Ever. Like... it didnt happen. You created a complete strawman.
  20. That’s what this is all about. The Eagles pressed the Chiefs receivers. This gave Mahomes no quick outlet. He couldn’t throw those quick slant passes, because there was a guy jamming his receivers in their face. Sometimes they bailed into zone after the press, other times they stayed man. But the key was that the initial press TOOK AWAY Mahomes quick passes. It made him hold the ball. And that gave their excellent d-line more time to get to him.
  21. Not even close to the Bills normal defense. We don’t play press (maybe 15 plays all year). I’ll see if I can add that counter feature to EinsteinFootball.com
  22. Great observation, but you may have to explain this for some people. this was happening a lot of the time they were running zone. and went run correctly, it really gives the benefit of both man and zone.
  23. Much worse. Mahomes actually played well despite Tampa’s pressure. He played awful yesterday.
