  1. Like it - the Bills had a need and have filled it the best they can. Hopefully he'll learn the defense quickly and be fit enough to play more often than not.
  2. Ah, ok, thanks. Was getting hopeful. Guess I am still hopeful but not as much as before! I thought there was confusion surrounding the Kirksey reports, and they were actually from a few years ago?
  3. Cutting Klein makes me wonder. Bernard is injured, so what do they do if Dodson misses games? They may want to put Klein on the PS, but he could be picked up by somewhere else. Giants?
  4. Think there are better options about at MLB than either now.
  5. With the likes of Kinksey and Jones available, if the Bills go into the season choosing between Dodson and Klein at MLB then serious questions need to be asked either of Beane, if he cannot bring someone in, or McDermott, if he tells Beane a MLB is not required.
  6. Anyone want to start part 2?
  7. Allen looked pretty good today. Allen looked pretty poor today. Think that covers it.
  8. Someone may as well say it - can he play MLB?
  9. In fairness, the OP said Josh can’t read defenses as well as some think, not that he can’t read defenses at all.
  10. To answer the OP, the Bills have looked indisciplined and unfocused in more than one game where McDermott has 'purely' been HC.
  11. We're not winning the SB because Josh forgot to put his flip flops on. Good to know.
  12. Beggars can't be choosers. Though, in this case, it isn't Dawson begging.
  13. At this rate, Knox will be joining the OL whilst Kincaid acts as TE.
  14. I do agree that the injury has really affected his progress.
  15. Brown hasn't really looked right since we drafted him - can be a turnstile more often than not.
  16. We've had at least one blowout a year under McDermott. 2017: 47-10 v the Saints/54-24 at the Chargers/23-3 v the Patriots 2018: 47-3 at the Ravens/22-0 at the Packers/37-5 at the Colts/26-5 v the Patriots/41-9 v the Bears 2019: 31-13 v the Eagles 2020: 42-16 at the Titans 2021: 41-15 v the Colts 2022: 27-10 v the Bengals (arguable whether this was a 'blowout' but it was a horrific performance)
  17. I said that in the game thread and got criticism for it, but think you're right.
  18. 41-15 at home to the Colts in 2021?
  19. He hasn’t had that truly terrible game yet???
  20. Move on and just have a look at Kincaid’s best bits on YouTube/Twitter (as was).
  21. Seem to have at least a game a year where a team wants it more than the Bills. At least this happened in pre-season.
  22. It’s unusual for them to be blown out in pre-season. Yes, they lost something like 21-0 to the Panthers last year but I think that was with third stringers and those cut from the roster. Before that, any defeat was a close one. But there’s been at least one blow out in the regular season every year since McDermott arrived, up to last year, where it came in the play offs. Maybe this year it has come in pre-season. Why they seem to have this nightmare at least once a year is anyone’s guess.
  23. The Chiefs, the Bengals and Josh are the targets in the AFC. I don't think the rest of the Bills roster (maybe Diggs and a fit Miller aside) is held in the same regard, mainly down to the performance against the Bengals last year.
  24. Agree with this. I'm even tempted to put Josh out there for a series or two to see if he can build any kind of trust in the (admittedly barely existent) O-Line. There were a couple of times tonight where he took off when he didn't need to. Then again, if he gets injured, we'd be calling out the utter futility of doing that.
  25. Same could be said for Blackshear, and the Panthers took him. One injury and a team may look around for a promising project they could mould.
