  1. A lot of Cowboys fans were after LaPorta after Kincaid was taken.
  2. Levis finally leaves the board.
  3. Titans have traded up.
  4. Have to admit, not sure if Davis is good enough as WR2.
  5. I agree, but I'd still have concerns about that if we had drafted Mayer.
  6. He's a different style of TE to Kincaid, and maybe what the Bills do not need at the current time.
  7. If that is the case, why didn't the Cowboys snap him up rather than reaching directly afterwards? I think we also have to consider the style of play as well. Mayer is more of a traditional TE, but the Bills already has one of those in Knox. Kincaid is more of a TE/WR hybrid which will suit their offense more.
  8. True, should be "in the draft"! The way you're going on about it makes it sound like you think it - it's coming across that you think it's a disastrous pick which we'll regret, ergo he must be a bad player.
  9. Yes, we get it. Mayer is the best TE ever to come from the draft, even though teams in the TE market didn't bother to draft him in the first, despite being given the opportunity to do so. Meanwhile, Kincaid is woeful, dreadful, awful, and will cost Beane and McDermott their jobs whilst Josh will go from a top five QB to bottom five QB simply because of him. We get it.
  10. If he's crowd sourcing, the response is pretty definite.
  11. The way Beane was talking about the loss of the fourth round pick yesterday I wouldn't be surprised if we traded back in the second or third to get it back.
  12. A great read as ever, GunnerBill. I do have an opinion on this but would be interested in the thoughts of others - is the common consensus that the Jets and Cowboys both want to trade back once their picks had been selected by the Steelers and the Bills, only failing to find an appropriate deal so took their BPA?
  13. The third paragraph is what I was trying to get at - you put it more succinctly than me!
  14. I liked this draft when it happened. Now I've slept (albeit not for long) on it, I love it now. Think he is exactly what the Bills need. I appreciate the support for Mayer but he's another Knox, and they already have one of those who is paid handsomely. The Bills needed something different and they've got it. Best possible pick available and, at this stage, I don't mind losing 130 to make it happen. In relation to Dorsey getting him involved, that doesn't bother me. I have more confidence in his play calling than most. All-22 etc. showed many occasions where players were available but not used on failed attempts. He has the ability to set up plays where Kincaid is available. My issue with Dorsey is whether he can manage Josh. Because he was either not telling him to take what's available, was not being listened to, or Josh failed to move away from the default big play more often than not when pressured. Hopefully Kincaid can help by building a relationship with Josh over pre season.
  15. I don't think that's strictly true - he started the season doing so, then went away from it. I'm clinging on to the elbow injury being behind it, as I read somewhere that that type of injury has more impact on shorter than longer throws. The only problem is, when supposedly fully healed, he failed to get back into the mindset of taking what's given. Hopefully the break, time with Palmer etc. will help with this.
  16. Wow, so Cowboys switch to a DT.
  17. He'll fit in well here, then.
  18. In fairness, the Cowboys draft room hardly looks thrilled.
  19. At least it's an offensive player, so not overly unhappy. But were the Jags in for a TE too? Is Kincaid that much more higher rated than Mayer?
  20. Bit late now to trade up, isn't it?
  21. Hardly. It was utterly predictable.
  22. Campbell? I swear we thought he'd be there in the second round.
  23. Agreed - if two of the three go then perhaps make a bid to trade up, if they want a WR.
  24. Can you imagine? Yeah, fine, we've picked you as a potential future QB... but preferred a RB at 12.
  25. If Beane selects a defensive player, Josh and Rodgers may start a support group.
