Steelers trade with the Pats for 14.
-
They seem to be trying to make Levis not being picked the story of the night.
-
Please, no.

Houston trading to three???
-
So they made what should be Young and Carolina's moment all about the Chiefs. Figures.

Two minutes in... googling where the NFL Draft is being held in 2024 and wishing we were there now.

Evening those in America, morning those in Europe, afternoon those... who are located in a place where it's afternoon. Thanks for the thread. Have been trouble gaining enthusiasm for this year compared to last. But still love the draft. Drinking game every time they mention Mahomes?

2nd Annual TSW Draft Day Predictions Contest (Fun only)
UKBillFan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Name the first 5 players draft in order (Feel free to name the teams as well for bonus points) Young, Wilson, Anderson, Levis, Richardson How many trades will be in the first round? 3 Will the Bills trade up, back, or stay put? Trade Back Will DHop be traded today? (doesn't mean he is traded for a first round pick). Bonus points to identify the team he is traded to Yes, to the Ravens Who will the Bills pick? No first round pick - Jack Campbell as the Bills' first in the second round How many RB's will go in the first round? 2 How many QB's will go in the first round? 4 Will ESPN cut to commercial if/when the Bills make their selection? No Who will be the biggest reach pick of the draft (Yes, I know this up for debate. Gruden made it so easy with the Raiders) Levis Which college will have the most players selected in the first round? Georgia -
Short term gain but potential long term pain for the Jets when it comes to the QB position. If Rodgers gets them to the play offs, at least, in the year before he retires then they won't be in a great place to draft or trade for his replacement. I don't think he's good enough now to win them the SB, which surely must be their plan to trade away as much as they have?

DHopkins would cost a 2nd round pick...would you do it?

Definitely, as long as the numbers work. -
The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
UKBillFan replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
My concern isn't Josh. He said what he said and I believe him. My concern is Diggs. He has done nothing over the post season to quash any concerns over his relationship with either the Bills or Josh and, indeed, went out of his way to present things very carefully in interviews held after the Bengals game to express his annoyance, even to the near point of questioning play calls and execution - the latter being at least partially on Josh. So there was tension, at least from Diggs towards Josh. I believe GunnerBill that Josh may have, to an extent, snapped leading to some reciprocation. I also agree with those that say these things happen between friends who are exceptionally close and Josh has moved on and is over it. Until Diggs comes out with a similar interview I'll continue having doubts as far as he is concerned. -
Josh Britt unverified Breakup rumour

Or he's got nothing - or no one else - to be interested in other than football. -
Florio raises an excellent question:
UKBillFan replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
We basically save money on Josh then, Diggs aside, spend it on defense. -
It's probably been said in the six pages already but we're basically going to treat Josh like the Packers treated Rodgers when they drafted Love? Only Josh is much younger.
-
In truth all he has to say that he's happy in Buffalo and can't wait for another season at Highmark. Then all the deep reading, questioning and second guessing would stop. Methinks he enjoys the attention.
-
I think Josh is at his best whe he's allowed to play almost without thinking. When he has to think things through, or have specific requests in mind, I think he can second guess himself which impacts his game. I fully appreciate what McDermott is saying, but am concerned it'll impact neagtively on Josh's style of play.

You quoted as I deleted it, as I read a further post which suggested the reference might be referring to positions rather than single players. Get a legit number two WR through the door and I’ll be much happier. The RB room is decent providing Harris stays fit.

The Cincy game & its affect on how we view the team
UKBillFan replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
In soccer, Manchester United lost 7-0 to Liverpool recently. They haven't lost since, qualifying for the next round in two separate competitions. The defeat was an embarrassment where every player bottomed out, but it didn't and hasn't defined their season. It doesn't mean they don't have issues to sort out in the long term but they are one of the best teams in England. That's very much like the Bills post Bengals. The big difference is Manchester United only had to wait four days for the next game, rather than close to eight months of it eating away at the players, staff and fan base. (Sorry if someone else has made this point; I haven't read every page!) -
Bills Fans Call Out Cole Beasley for ‘Slander’
UKBillFan replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd be tempted to trade Josh for Mahomes, not that that offer would ever be on the table. He's the only one though. -
Darren Waller Traded Due Wedding Details Leaked
UKBillFan replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Perhaps they eloped and some of his family didn't know he'd got married? -
Am I right to feel that Harty is an attempt to upgrade on McKenzie at four, with Diggs, a newcomer and Davis above him? Cut McKenzie and there’s very little cap hit either. He has pace and he seems to be pretty reliable with his hands which is a plus. The Saints fans don’t seem overly upset with his departure because of his injury record. Him staying healthy will be key as we have been able to call on McKenzie, more often than not.

Very happy about this as long as it’s a team friendly deal. One less hole to fill in free agency or the draft.
