Ok, I have a kid’s XL Troy Vincent #23 jersey that I picked up on clearance from NFLshop.com. I bought some dark blue Nike shimmer basketball shorts at goodwill, cut a rectangle out of them and sewed it over the nameplate. Then I took the jersey to the local sporting goods store and had them screen print “LYNCH” on the back. Total cost: $21. Pretty sweet. He was traded 3 months later.

This is my first and probably only post just to reply and say I could have written that myself. I was born and raised in Seattle, 38 years old, and have been a Bills fan since the start of the ‘90s. The Seahawks were awful then and the Bills were so damn cool. Since having kids, my emotional elasticity with wins and losses has waned a little, but this season has just been so much fun and it’s a thrill to care about something you have NO control over. Anyway, you’re not the only one out there on the west coast with an irrational and unexplainable attachment to the team. It’s a great time to be a long suffering Bills fan. Can’t wait for tomorrow. Go Bills!!
