I am going to stick with the opinion that is says more about Manuel than it does about Nassib.

i wouldn't have minded if Buffalo rolled the dice and made that additional trade with SF to hopefully get him at 31(?), it would have been nice to get the extra picks, but i am ok with this if it turns out to be a reach....

i made no secrets that I would have loved to take Nassib, with the correct spot in the draft(late first, early second). that said, i do not know anything about this kid, but all reports indicate he has incredible skills and potential. I am more relieved that we didn't take Smith or Barkley. I think we got a great pick here.

i have no problem with Affleck making this symbolic move, he seems like a fairly down to earth guy and if he causes a few people to realize that that is exactly how people live 365/year maybe it will cause some action from the rank and file of the world. So your view of a potential draft pick is based on a limited prep all star game with unfamiliar players and coaches and vertical jumps. I've watched or listened to mist if not all of his Syracuse games. I also live almost in the backyard of malvern prep and have heard reports of hw good he was pre-college. I am a syracuse homer so my glasses are definitely orange tinted but I honestly feel he will be a successful QB....especially playing for a staff he has 4 years experience with.
