  1. granted he's on her turf, but that is pretty cool that he seemingly thinks that highly of a 17 year olds song to play it. I wasted too many years resisting becoming a Springsteen fan, but came around several years ago, and it's things like this that make him so cool and good
  2. hell yeah, and based on her apparent intelligence level, i may even have a shot!
  3. I'm here to admit I would have peed & probably pooped myself. Not 100% certain I wouldn't have cried the entire time too.
  4. that would be awesome...maybe he stays to become a better everyday scorer...there is a great bleacher report story on ennis by a writer named cj moore, we can't link bleacher report here so go look for it..it's a very good look into ennis and how he approaches the game

  6. The AV Club, a sister publication of The Onion, did an article/interview on how he came off those first couple appearances. I haven't seen him on the show but it was a good interview. If I wasn't posting this whilst sitting on the throne I'd find the link for you, but I'm sure you could find it just as easily if you were interested

  8. this honestly brought tears to my eyes....WOW!!!
  9. They were making out with the cows??? Now I know f***ing the cows is thoroughly disgusting... but making out with them????
  10. I would be happy to have just one of those cash bundles
  11. if he's a government employee, i'd assume the transportation is quasi government at least, shouldn't he be fired for having a bible at work? separation of church and state?
  12. uber talented, and incredibly entertaining in whatever venue he happens to be in, seems to be fairly grounded too and is able to not take himself too seriously.
  13. Syracuse should be well in control points wise. I think keita hurt himself... Where's his knee brace. Would like to see Roberson back in there
  14. here's a picture of a small tribute outside of the 'Ghostbusters' Fire House
  15. my favorite part of every episode of Shameless is that little wiggle Emmy Rossum's character does in the opening song when she pulls up her 'wares'....gets me every frigging time
  16. it was an excellent race...all the cautions came after the 150 lap point(or there abouts) and in Danica's defense, she got taken out and went into the wall incredibly hard, they had a camera on her face during her crash and it's amazing to see the reactions or lack there of...i'd be screaming and crying
  17. i love that Duke dropped from 5 to 6...that made me smile
  18. thanks for that...big gaslight anthem fan Jim James cover of Bob Marley's 'Turn Your Lights Down Low', I am a big fan of Jim James/Yim Yames/MMJ and think he did a great job on this...on the same album is Vampire Weekend covering 'Con te Partirò', they do a very nice version of that song. https://soundcloud.com/fantasylabelgroup/turn-your-lights-down-low-jim
  19. i wouldn't have wanted boehiem to act any differently...i kept hitting stop and go on this vine and cj went around the defender, great job of selling it by hood....but charge? i don't think so...hell, i'm not sure it was even a block, or if there was ANY contact https://vine.co/v/MmeedrIpMQ9
  20. just look at the picture...cj never really even made contact with hood...., only way there would have been contact is if hood leaned to his right
  21. I'm the same way about the officiating...the first thing i did was go on facebook to a duke fan friend of mine and congratulated his team on a huge win(i talk trash, but i make sure I am the first one to congratulate the opposing fans), he of course immediately went to the 'it was the right call, and after all hood got mugged in the first game'. that reaction by boehiem was perfect, 38 years in the same job, 52 years with the same 'company' and he still has that kind of passion???? that's insane cool. and 38 years in and that's his first ever ejection. i've always been a boehiem fan, now i am even moreso
  22. it amazes me back then people had the foresight to realize the importance of direct marketing, and networking, and a wife no less, not to disparage women but in the early 60's women weren't traditionally exposed to business schools and practices
