Speeding ticket in southeast georgia yesterday

i said 'i honestly don't think i was going 85' but i honestly don't think he heard anything other than him asking for my license...seems like this little part of the world has their own agenda and is only focused on revenue...seems like they don't even listen to reduced violations or traffic school for first time speeders... -

that thread while started in 09 has posts up until a couple weeks ago...same story throughout the thread...i told him i didn't think i was going 85 -
so i am driving from florida, driving with the flow of traffic, thought i was doing about 80 in a 70, see a sherrif truck going from south bound to northbound and slide in right behind my car and pull me over....came up, told me i was doing 85. asked for my license hand it to him along with the car rental contract, he didn't even acknowlege the rental agreement, just walked back to his car with my license. Came back handed me the ticket, asked me to sign it saying it was in no way an admission of guilt, said his radar was calibrated that morning and to call by june 11th for cost of ticket or to fight the ticket...no big deal, i know i was going over the posted speed... today i go online to see if i can fight an out of state speeding ticket to avoid points, type in the location of the ticket and come across this forum.... http://www.topix.com/forum/city/darien-ga/TEJF3CEO3SBCI8ASG scary how so many have the exact same story...85MPH, no request for insurance or registration...but all the talk about the super speeder additional fine... I don't know what to do now...i have a legal plan through work, not sure how it works or if it can even be used in this situation...i don't mind paying a speeding ticket at all, but holy crap it seems as though this place is notorious for trying to make some serious cash... any suggestions, recommendations, similar experiences in this part of georgia? mcintosh county, darien georgia? ticket claims light traffic, i would have called it moderate, certainly not light traffic.

My official name is Patrick James but my parents always intended on calling me PJ... I only hear Patrick when I'm in trouble or I owe money -

Just hung out on the beach with a frigging miami dolphin... Jordan Kovacs...a ST/DB player... nice guy but still felt the need to shower afterwards. My youngest played safety on some beach football passes he was throwing. -
AC/DC rumor - to retire due to bad health?
The Poojer replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yeah I know...I really enjoyed their album prior to the new one and the new one cemented them for me. They are new to me so that's why I included them. JSP...I'm very slowly starting to enjoy the electronica stuff. Its not really my cup of tea but I saw skrillex a couple years ago and enjoyed it a lot so I let my guard down on that style. -

I wholeheartedly agree about enjoying new bands in fact I rarely listen to the bands of my youth anymore, except for the dead, but I would never call them not relevant. -

Define relevant. Putting out new music the fans enjoy? Being among the top musical touring acts year after year? Books? Age should not prevent you from doing what you enjoy? -
What benign thing would you not do for $1,000,000?

Big fan of hers...became a fan a couple years ago when she made her record with David Byrne... When I realized she was also a part of polyphonic spree I became a bigger fan...missed her a few weeks ago but a fan nonetheless

I have to defer Jerami's pro potential knowledge to Horace & Harvey. Theyve been there done that. If he wasnt ready I'd have to believe they would have been very vocal...
