  3. manzel = flutie....he is nothing more than a novelty act that will be figured out within 3-5 games..... kyle williams is an absolute beast hogan & woods are awesome i am among the biggest Buffalo optimists around but I dread next week, i see 0% chance walking out with a win, or even a close loss, sorry i love bill in nyc's posts and am glad to see them back, especially on this, the last day of 30 Days of Dead 2014 at http://www.dead.net/30daysofdead
  4. why in the world was he eating sand in the first place???
  5. and i completely understand why you wouldn't, it can be ugly and depressing when it comes to on the field play. But there is a campaign started by our own ChevyVanMiller to raise money for Daryl Talley and his struggles against suspected CTE, concussion related injuries. $114,000 raised by Buffalo, WV, and even one Raiders, fans. I am sure everyone is aware of it, but in case you are simply a social member here and don't venture away from Off The Wall, take a look. http://www.gofundme.com/hvkgjo
  6. More likely Wun Dum Fook
  7. hearing CJ chime in really makes me like him more, he has always come off as somewhat indifferent to Buffalo, perhaps we are to blame for some of it, but to stand up for Buffalo really puts a smile on my face.
  8. great job by everyone involved, this is why it so easy to be a bills fan!
  9. a $200 tv i figured it was worth the $20
  10. honestly if it wasn't $200, my 39" sony tube was perfect for my viewing needs(dog the bounty hunter, pawn stars, etc...) I was fully prepared to walk out if i couldn't get this tv. Now off to freecycle to see if anyone wants a couple tube tvs
  11. the panasonic 50" tv, my first non-tube tv....$200, i sprung for the $20 2 year protection plan
  12. went to best buy in search of one of their tv doorbuster deals, got there 30 minutes before door opened, maybe 400 people in line, the tickets for the tv were all distributed so no guarantee i would get one, i turned to leave, girl 2nd in line graciously gave me a ticket she had(not sure how she got more than one). Doors opened, everyone went in in an orderly manner, got in the tv line, the employees were incredibly helpful and organized, got my tv out in 45 minutes, tv is hooked up and i couldn't be happier.
  13. sad is an understatement....wow!
  14. unfortunately bud light or miller lite or coors light had that first, but if you are like me, you try to have selective memory and not give them the credit
  15. Just had cigar city jai alai... Always a good choice

  17. or call me and we can go out drinking....fwiw, it's snowing pretty good right now, but its still a couple degrees to warm and its too wet to stick yet, but if it keeps coming at this clip it may get messy
  18. i am also very glad A-B/I has kept their hands off the Goose Island lines so far....i am also SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad Hardywood is now in the Philly market now, now if only Legend would distribute up here.
  19. i have to stand with others on this one....TYPICALLY, when you think of Belgian Style Beers they have the characteristics of wild yeast, open fermentation, picking up flavors like candi sugar, banana, bandaid etc, flavors not usually found in other styles of beer but actually very desirable in Belgian Style, more along the lines of farmhouse or saison styles. Stella to me is more of a Czech Pilsner style of beer. Sadly Buweiser is/was considered an American Style beer, thankfully, Boston Brewing, Sierra Nevada and West Coast IPA's are becoming more of an American Style
  20. kind of depends what you are looking for. The Even Keel is a session IPA, much like Founders All Day, it is something you can enjoy several times over without getting too buzzed after several. The Big Eye is upwards of 7-8% so after a couple/few you may start feeling the effects and subsequently the next morning could suck. The Big Eye is an excellent beer so don't get me wrong, either one is a great choice.
  21. some interesting stuff here, not included in this list is Wilco Alpha Mike Foxtrot. I am particularly interested in Mule, Dead & DMB http://recordstoreday.com/PromotionalEvent/27
  22. a buddy at work got me a shlafly, it was available in jersey before it got her in PA, man did I enjoy that beer.
  23. I just had the Ballast Point Even Keel last night while watching the Buffalo game....very good session IPA, no where as good as the Sculpin but a mighty fine beer
