  1. then i must be all sorts of cute!!!
  2. that was the second coolest thing of that day, the first for me was seeing The Clash play live!
  3. Let me know if Topps or Price Chopper offers to 'credit you' so you can pay next time...unfortunately things happen in this day and age of modern technology and 'convenience'. I had a situation a couple months ago where my card was being declined at the wegmans checkout line despite having used it 10 minutes ago at the coffee counter. I knew i had money in my account but it just kept getting declined...didn't see anyone else having a similar issue...went to customer service tried it there, still nothing...noticed the atm next to the counter, went to see if i could pull out the cash to pay...yup, no issues, got the cash, sucked up the ATM fee paid and went about my business. No biggie, i continue to shop primarily at wegmans....
  4. I hear you, but I never had the opportunity to see them with Moon, i was only 15 when he died,
  5. the thing with the remaining dead members is, they all have their own bands and have been touring regularly for almost as long as the dead themselves, so it's not like they are dusting off cobwebs....the lineup for Dear Jerry is sick and I cannot wait, would have loved to have been part of the Chicago scene, but that didn't happen. As far as the Who goes, my kids got me tickets for Christmas. I saw them in '82 so now i get to share their show with a 2 of my 3 kids....ain't nothing wrong with that.... http://blackbirdmusicgroup.com/dear-jerry-celebrating-the-music-of-jerry-garcia/
  6. Going to both The Who and a gathering of the remaining Dead members and I couldn't be happier...would love to see the Stones as well, but I only have limited money
  7. if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself, give me the info, i can do it from my ip address and you will be safe....just pm me all your account and personal information.
  8. Like others said, didn't have the flash of a season ender, but it sets up the Jimmy to Saul transformation perfectly and shows that for all his faults Jimmy/Saul has a heart and is loyal.
  9. I am no duke fan at all, but I am ok with that call...sure it looked like the fingertips could have touched that ball, but i honestly didn't see the rotation or the direction change at all...i could have taken either side of that call. I was amazed at how much time wisconsin spent dribbling and passing while on offence...sure i know some of that is their strength, but there were many times they were overdoing it.
  10. gee...never heard of it..... 'tis a very very very good beer. Southern Tier is pumping out some excellent beers.
  11. Yeah, its an excellent beer style but it hates same sex couples.
  12. I was on the Drexel campus on Friday.... Dammit
  13. Never lived in buffalo for more than 6 months but all my roots are there. Butter lamb is, wait for it....butter in the shape of a lamb. Heady Topper might be the east coast version of Pliny the Younger. Brewery out of Vermont, Alchemist, makes a killer IPA that is distributed in cans at "clandestine" drop off points within about a 30 mile radius of the brewery. A stellar IPA that holds up to the hype
  14. Well that certainly escalated quickly. Almost wish I knew what it was all about.... said no one EVER
  15. Please turn in your buffalo card, immediately
  16. B word, please. I'm Poojer!
  17. Ham, stuffed artichokes and corn pudding... Oh yeah, and a heady topper or two
  18. Absolutely, but these guys at this level should be better equipped to handle defeat graciously, then go behind closed doors to express their true emotions
  19. All that being said, save for a couple questionable calls, that was an epic battle. Hopefully Monday is more of the same. Two fundamentally strong teams going hard at each other
  20. There's sex in them there clam strips
  21. Cauley-Stein seemed to walk off without shaking hands. Shame. It wasn't the Kentucky players I didn't like, it is calipari that I can't stand
  22. been to several at Richmond International. Have you ever seen Buffalo Bills fans? talk about mullets....and then there are the guys
  23. trying to trick me up with the whole wisdom tooth thing? 52 years old and still have every tooth in my head....still need to stop painting a population of people with such wide strokes.
