  1. C.J. Ah You plays or somebody? Can't remember who? Maybe the Rams? As we are aware, poor teams tend to have lots of other teams cuts.
  2. Very true although Wang, Cordaro, and Sean Allen actually do look like Practice Squad material. Remember that Chambers got cut to start the season last year? Right now he is the #4 tackle and maybe the #3 gaurd. That scares the daylights out of me. So .... what exactly did we do to improve this line rom last year? Losing Butler (solid RG and decent RT) and adding Cornell Green does not look like net positive so far.
  3. They need a veteran G/C backup. If not, then Sean Allen and Cordaro whats-he-name are next in line. That scares me more than Bell-Green-Meredith-Chambers at the tackle.
  4. Why not keep TO? There is your answer.
  5. The AFCE is very tough, look at the players, coaches and the style of play. The division games tend to be split among the teams. There is no dominant team, that is part of what makes the division tough. The Pats* have been tough for 10 years and they were 18-1 just a few years ago. Their defense has dropped off but they are very formidible. Jets and Phins play a smash-mouth style and have been built fom the trenches out. The Bills are catching up. They need to show improvement on OL, DL and LB to make strides. QB is a huge question. We have very little at TE and no proven #2 WR. The Bills finally got a tough coach that will improve the mentality of a team that has been a marshmellow for years.
  6. Agree. We do not have a veteran gaurd on the roster. If Levitre or Wood go down who plays? Cordaro? Sean Allen? Probably Chambers which is always scary. I think a veteran G/C and a TE would be the most likely pickups.
  7. Nelson makes plays and appears to be a smart player. Hardy? Can't think of any reason to keep him.
  8. Yes - I understand we have Bell. After that we have nothing. Chambers looks like the backup RT. He can also play gaurd as you stated. Chambers sucks but we didn't add any veteran help except for Green who looks very shakey to me. You listed six offfensive lineman -- ouch!
  9. Fair trade. Git 'er done Buddy!
  10. Good Bye Die Hard. I enjoyed your posts. I agree that the team is more important than anything else, I just wish we had a little more to work with at OT an LB. I think I know who you are, and if so, you were a good solid player. Nothing wrong wth that! Take care. Go Bills!!!!
  11. Foschi will live another day only because we have nothing else. Moats will make it because he was played well when he does not have to cover anyone... he really is a project. Even his special team play is nothing special. He may be a Practice Sqaud guy. Chambers sucks but he will make it because we have nothing else. Meredith, Green and Wang ... that is it. Brown will be on the Practice squad. Buh bye to McCargo and Hardy.
  12. What is the Shout box for? Where is the chat room? Can't find the buton.
  13. We could win 5 games and still actually play better than last year, even though they won 6 last year. We could end up with more yards, more points, less yard given up, better time of possession, fewer penalties and fewer turnovers .... and still only win five games. We play a much tougher schedule and our division is getting better, not worse. Added to that we still have the same weaknesses that we had last year. It will take at least two off-seasons to improve the talent and change the losing culture.
  14. The Bills will be competitive, however, they have been painfully lacking on both OL amd DL, especially against our own division. Example: 1. We have been playing 3-4 teams in our division for nearly a decade and we have done very little to draft or acquire a top center. 2. It seems that we have drafted less OL and DL players in the first three rounds than our division foes. I did not check stats but it seems like it. Especially on the OL.
  15. Please. Another reason to get the vote down capability working.
  16. I have not noticed that ... it up to Chan to notice it and fix it, if true.
  17. Unfortunately, in todays NFL this is much more common.
  18. You sure about that? Fitz won 3 or 4 games for us with last years line, injuries, coaching changes, etc. Fitz is a decent backup that can step in and make some plays.
  19. Hope not. Last year we cut our veterans at the end of camp after playing them in the preseason. Not a brilliant move to make was it? Wang has no experience and I doubt he will play much this season unless we have several injuries at OT.
  20. So what Calloway got cut. Not every 7th rounder is going to be the next Victor Allotey or Mike Pucillo.
  21. Which is more important depends on your personnel. Game plan to your players strength and your oppositions weaknesses, not to some preset formula.
  22. No chance. He is the best DE on the team. Watch the games closer and consider recording and reviewing the plays.
  23. REALITY TIME We cut a 7th round draft pick. Pick number 216. This is not a big deal. He will probably end up on our Practice Squad anyway. Did you notice in game 1 that Cordaro Howard, an undrafted rookie free agent, started at RG instead of Calloway? Calloway was also behind Christian Gaddis and Nick Hennesey and Andre Ramsey ... all of which have been on our PS for a year already. Wang is probably behind too. Don't be surprised to see him get cut. We cut 1 nobody but we have 3 or 4 other nobody's that are even better. Relax.
  24. If the Bills have a great season then the media will jump on the bandwagon and that is fine with me. They will talk about how much respect they have for Chan Gailey, how Edwards has developed, about what a great pick Spiller is, etc. Everyone loves a winner, now lets win!
  25. Oh. Another statistical attempt to TRY to rate offensine lineman. I wonder how they know who screwed up when a play breaks down? Yes, sometimes it is obvious but do the makers of these stats know the playbooks and the audibles for all 32 teams? Bob-in-STL-Football-Focus saw all the games and Hangartner looked ok. He played with a rookie on his left and with a revolving door of guards on his right. He is not a star, he is average. He held up ok and for once the AFC East nose tackles did not destroy us like they had in previous years. We were 2-4 against our division last year (should have been 3-3); the year prior we were 0-6 and could not compete at all against a 3-4. I just have a hard time ranking him dead last in the league.
