  1. I guess it's people from the boat kill Karl and Roussou. They are the military men departed from Witmore's boat by Frank's helicopter in last week's episode.
  2. Does Patriots' offseason HGH program start this early?
  3. Malcolm Kelly stock drops I talked to an AFC scout last night who said that several teams were losing patience with Kelly, who will supposedly perform at a private workout in Norman on April 9. If he has an outstanding showing, Kelly could vault back into the top 20, but right now he's fallen behind Cal's DeSean Jackson and Michigan State's Devin Thomas on many draft boards around the league.
  4. I think you are already very disappointed in the outcome of Superbowl 42. Picture of the Year
  5. I see a problem. With everything goes back to 2007, some Pats trolls may think they are still fighting for 19-0 season and post greatest-team-ever trash. Should I remove my avatar so it won't surprise them?
  6. You forgot to mention that Lions switched to Tampa 2 after hiring Marinelli as head coach and Donnie Henderson as their defensive coordinator before 2006 season. Other than Kennedy, Lions need another elite safety to play along side him. They did draft a safety, Daniel Bullocks, in second round last year. Bullocks played both strong safety and free safety in college and is listed as FS by Lions. It's not that different between SS and FS in Tampa 2 and Bullocks actually filled in for Kennedy when Kennedy was out several games last season. Bullocks is pencilled in as starter this year. Did Lions consider Whitner a good fit to play with Kennedy in Tampa 2? No one can prove or disprove it other than Lions' officials. However, Whitner did have an exceptional workout at combine and ran 4.40 in 40 yard dash, same as Bullocks. Right after the combine last year, I remember there were even reports saying some teams considered to move him to CB. Out of the Donte Whitner sweepstakes??? Try again.
  7. You are really good at shifting the focus. I agree that there are other scenarios Marv could have done, but I don't agree with your "Whitner was picked too early" statement.
  8. Thanks for your another opinion. If you really wanted to discuss whether Whitner was picked too early, try to bring in Detroit when you make any so-called educated guess.
  9. Only in your head they are exactly the same. Thanks for your opinion based on nothing. Next !!
  10. There are many scenarios Bills could have done in last year's draft. Some people may prefer one case, others may prefer another. Most important, no matter what Marv did, he wouldn't be able to satisfy everyone. However, when Dawgg claimed that the statement of "Whitner was picked too early" was right, I was so curious to see what he based on. This is not about whether Bills should have trade down from #8 spot, this is about what makes Dawgg so sure that Whitner was picked too early when it's impossible to prove it. Please don't confuse "Whitner was picked too early" to "Bills could have traded down", they are different. Since Dawgg admitted he based on nothing to make the statement, I got what I wanted to know. BTW, I also criticize some of Marv's moves, but I always try to avoid making statements based on nothing. (cough....Dawgg....cough....) Now, please go back to argue which scenario you like most.
  11. Thank you for admitting that your statement regarding to "Whitner was picked too early" was based on nothing and was merely your own opinion. Thanks for playing
  12. I don't see one is obviously better than the other. Of course, you can have a different opinion. BTW, why do you keep ignoring people's questions on your "too early" statement? Where is your proof that Whitner was picked too early? Is it just your opinion based on mock drafts? I assume you do know the difference between "Whitner was picked too early" and "Bills could have traded down".
  13. Just a reminder, all of above has nothing to do with "Whitner was picked too early" statement. You only list what Bills could have done differently and, in your opinion, you like these scenarios more. However, there is still no proof that Whitner was picked too early and it seems like the "too early" statement is your own opinion again.
  14. Thanks for your opinion. I'd prefer to wait for few more years to make this kind of statement. This depends on how front office rates the players in each position and the gap between them. Bills seem to deem "Whitner+McCargo" as a better combination than "Bunckley/Ngata+a 2tier SS". (One thing funny is that people used Bunckley to criticize Whitner pick right after 2006 draft and they switch to use Ngata now) See above right, every 4th round SS will be a success and every 6th round QB will win you three superbowls... BTW, I don't see any of your statements explaining Whitner was picked too early? Where is the proof that Whitner would be available few picks later?
  15. He is right???? Based on what? Mock drafts?
  16. Former Louisville RB Bush has leg surgery Gasparro said Bush sought another medical opinion when his bone didn't heal quickly enough. He's expected to be out another couple of months and won't be able to work out Monday during Louisville's pro day, Gasparro said. rotoworld.com Bush had planned to run at the Cardinals' March 26 Pro Day but is now expected to be sidelined another "few months," according to the AP. There were hints that Bush wasn't healing correctly, as he was limping on the sidelines of Louisville's Orange Bowl win over Wake Forest and skipped all of the Combine drills. Bush is now less likely to make an impact in his rookie season and might begin it on the PUP list. He also could fall out of the first two rounds of the draft.
  17. This may change your view.
  18. Tom Brady may have impregnated Gisele Bundchen after Bridget Moynahan has his baby
  19. Just a reminder for people who think regular season starts next Sunday.
  20. Bruises?? Are you really sure about this? Based on this report, there is no evidence at all: The 20-year-old Emeryville woman made inconsistent statements to police, and some allegations she made in an application for a restraining order that was granted by a judge Friday didn't match what she told officers, said Kim Hunter, an Alameda County senior deputy district attorney. A friend of both Lynch and the woman told police that the incident described by the woman didn't happen, and the woman, who said she had been choked, didn't show signs of injury, Hunter said. Also, there were no photographs that could document what she said, the prosecutor said.
  21. Titans likely to cut Henry Saturday
  22. Apology accepted. So now you admit that you didn't stay on topic, which is "Moulds not cutting it in Houston as a number #2 WR" Remind me again what's your question regarding to ganesh's comments. Don't forget that you asked him to read the subject of the thread and even said "The argument was about Moulds cutting it as a #2 receiver". Do you mind to show that how a comparison between Moulds and Price stays on the subject of the thread? Just in case you forget, the subject of the thread is "Moulds not cutting it in Houston as a number #2 WR" Moulds and Price are both below league average as #2 WRs. However, comparing Price to Moulds has nothing to do with the topic "Moulds not cutting it in Houston as a number #2 WR". It may relate to the evaluation on the decision of replacing Moulds by Price, but it's not related to the evaluation of Moulds' individual ability and performance as a #2 WR. You're welcome to hijack the thread to take the discussion to anywhere you want and call it in-depth, however, your claim of staying on topic is simply wrong.
  23. typo, it should be "unable" ..... As usual, when Dawgg is losing a football argument, he starts to find other people's typo and avoids talking about football anymore. This is the only thing Dawgg good at. And this is the statement from Dawgg at post 48 in this thread. Dwagg asked people to read the subject of the tread. Which tread? Shoe tread or tire tread? Anyway, it is boring to find others' typo. Back to football, the post should be: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You seems unable to distinguish "Moulds' performance" and "The decision of replacing Moulds by Price", where only the latter needs to take Price's performance into account. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Furthermore, when evaluating Moulds' performance as a #2 receiver, we look at his performance. When evaluating the decision of replacing Moulds by Price, we look at both Moulds' and Price's performance. These two evaluations are different, here, the topic is "Moulds not cutting it in Houston as a number #2 WR".
  24. No, it's not just my opinion. It is called common sense. Read the topic again, "Moulds not cutting it in Houston as a number #2 WR". Moulds' ability and performance at Houston has nothing to do with Price's performance at Buffalo. You seems inable to distinguish "Moulds' performance" to "The decision of replacing Moulds by Price", where only the later needs to take Price's performance into account.
