Exactly, tampa 2 doesn't need 350 cloggers. The DTs in Bucs depth chart are McFarland (6-0, 300), Hovan (6-2, 296), Bradley (6-0, 301), and Wyms (6-3, 290). Bears: Harris (6-3, 300), I.Scott (6-3, 302), T.Johnson (6-3, 300), and Boone (6-4, 318). Colts: Simon (6-2, 293), Reagor (6-3, 285), Reid (6-2, 288), and Williams (6-3, 285). Among the three, only Bears drafted a DT this year, Dvoracek (6-3, 298). Thus, stop worrying about our DTs' sizes. We're fine.

We have holes, some are big holes and some are small. Most people think OT/DT/S are big ones and DE/LB are small ones. Our DE/LB are not big needs compared to OT/DT/S. Using a 1st round to draft a DE or LB doesn't help our team as much as draft a OT/DT/S, unless the player is Mario or Hawk.

I'm convinced that Whinter would be gone after trading down. You can NOT be sure Whitner would be available several picks later and need to realize that Marv & Co didn't want to risk losing the player they like. DE and LE are not the most important needs (S, OT, DT) of our team. If Marv has done this, you all would have criticised his decision the way you criticise Whitner. You may also include "quantity over quality??", "ignore team's need", and "waste a 1st round on a possible backup" in your statements. In short, no matter what Marv did, it wouldn't satisfy all the fans. Some fans will always find things to criticise and believe they know more football than NFL GMs, coaches, and scouts.
