Good thing we can do trades in the next two. The purpose of the first mock being trade free is exactly the reason you just called out. It shows the types of players who may be gone and creates a better perspective going into the trade mocks.

The Houston Texans select Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss. After going OT in the first round, the Texans debated going back to the offensive line again, but didn't want to pass on the value of Harris here. The Ravens @NewEra are on the clock

I have to think about how to properly evaluate a Bills trade up for the next round. I think I'm going to open the 2.0 sign-up thread with a poll for the players most wanted. Then, maybe put a few people together to decide on trades. There's really no perfect way to do it, but the point of this was to always explore different opportunities and see how things play out. I'm wondering if 2.0 tries a trade up with our 1st and 2nd, and 3.0 entertains a trade with our 1st and both seconds (even though I think that's a bit much and can't image the Bills only having one pick in the first 3 rounds.

Just a heads up, I will be away from my laptop from 5:30p-7:30p tonight. @EmotionallyUnstable has until 6:30p to make his selection. If the Bills pick comes up in that time, there may be a delay.

With the rising cap, Cook's age, and production, I would be fine giving him 12 mil per year, but that's my absolute cap. If Beane feels that can't happen, then I would rather trade him before the draft, since the draft is so RB heavy.

This is one of the reasons why I wanted a DB with our 30 pick. The DB talent is no where near as deep as the DL talent. I would ideally love to see the Bills package their two 2nd round picks to move back up into the 1st and get both a legit DB and DT. Honestly, after those two holes, all picks in the 4th and beyond were going to be for depth anyways.
