  1. I've though long and hard about this. To say I'm nervous about this game is an understatement. I know it's only football but this seems bigger than that. The history between the teams, David chasing Goliath, changing of the guard, coach vs coach, Allen vs Mahomes, and the home crowd Bills Mafia. It doesn't get any better than this. I can't fathom a Bills loss. I just can't allow my brain to go there. Call me crazy, dumb, a troll, or a homer. Bills 23 KC 20
  2. I can feel your energy through the screen! I share your sentiments 100%.
  3. I don't think motivation will be an issue tomorrow. I don't think they need bulletin board material for tomorrow. he Bills and Allen look laser focused.
  4. I am objective. He's in a tough spot regardless if they play. The Bills home crowd will make it difficult for him. The McD defense is formidable and the next man up has certainly been up to their tasks. I expect the lesser know players to continue to contribute. Lastly, Mahomes doesn't have a lot of great weapons and has vulnerable tackles. Hopefully, the Bills come out with the win.
  5. I'm not defending them. I just don't think it was a big deal.
  6. I think the 49er vs the Bill comparison is not completely applicable. The Bills have landed one of the best QBs in the NFL. Meanwhile, the 49ers haven't had a franchise QB in recent memory. That's not a small factor to discount. Demoralizing is perhaps too strong of a word. It certainly will be deflating. To be honest, this is what we've been waiting for. Get KC on our turf. KC looks as vulnerable as ever. I think we can agree to that. As for the Mahomes incident, I could really careless. The game was over and he cried like a B. His coach cried more afterwards. His teammates cried even more afterwards. Prima donnas or perhaps feel entitled. Whatever, I don't watch football for character building, culture building, or role models. I'm an old school guy where knocking an opposing pass catcher into oblivion was the norm. The intimidation factor was real. Raider football was out right vicious, Dick Butkus would knock your head off, the purple people eaters would swallow you up, Ham and Lambert were scary foes, and Conrad Dobler would bite your fingers for fun. Shi! talking, dirty play intimidation, brutal hits, etc... were part of the game. The Mahomes incident wouldn't have even been a story. The Mahomes incident would be seen as a puss! move back in the day. The NFL has become as soft as charmin. I get it for the safety of the players. However, the changes have forever changed a once tough, intimating, and physical game into a finesse culture building game. It's up to each fan to decide their preference.
  7. You site one example where the Chiefs acted inappropriately and out of character. Mahomes owned up to his inappropriate behavior. As a competitor I think the circumstances got the best of him. No excuses though and Reid was worse after the fact. I'm not here to defend the Chiefs. However, football isn't a popularity contest, a higher character contest, or who whines and ***** more or less. Who gaves two poops about that? It's about rings and super bowls. Do the math!!! The high road here is meaningless. The great culture builder of McD hasn't produced a Lombardi. The great toughness, grit, and strength of the Bills is recently 0-2 vs KC in the playoffs. That's the bottom line and the only narrative that counts. Tomorrow can go a long way to change the narrative. I get it stand behind your team. I do the same with the Bills. They are resilient and have made an incredible run. That run comes smashing down with another KC victory. Talk about a demoralizing loss. Equally, a Bills win will have an euphoric effect on the fan base. Sure hope to experience that feeling. The amount of time spent on hating the Chiefs and calling into question their character and strength is ridiculous. For God's they are defending champs, have one of best coaches in the NFL, and the best QB on the planet. But hey, question their heart, strength, and character all you want. Tomorrow, we certainly will find out where each team stands. All I know is this is the opportunity Bills fans have been looking for for years. KC in Buffalo. Put up or shut up. No excuses... Go Bills!!!!
  8. Agree with everything except the grit and character statement. The Chiefs won a super bowl last year with Mahomes having one good leg. Their WR core wasn't good or strong last year as well. Their defense wasn't nearly as good as it is this year. They are the champs and assaulting their character is a hand scratcher. Reid and Spags are considered by many to be at the top of their class. I don't get the lack of character and toughness allegations.
  9. I disagree to a certain extent. Shocked if the Bills lose is just not a realistic view to take. I mean the Vegas spread is 2.5 points not 12.5 points. Football pundits are picking both teams to win and making valid arguments accordingly. Frankly, being shocked if the Bills lose is way too strong of a statement. But, you are entitled to your feelings and opinions. I'll be extremely disappointed if the Bills lose but not surprised or shocked if they do lose. I know others think the game won't be close. I just don't see it that way. These teams with their players and coaches are likely not to let the game get out of hand. I think it's a very close game. If the Bills win it will be a significant and signature win. Changing of the guard seems accurate.
  10. Mahomes can lead a team to a super bowl and win it all. It's really that simple. That's the new measuring fair or not.
  11. I'm pretty sure Mahomes will be up to the challenge. If the Chiefs lose it unlikely it's because of Mahomes.
  12. That's pretty big because I think he's one of their best run stoppers.
  13. I would be very surprised if he missed the game. It's rare guys listed with "illness' miss games of this magnitude.
  14. I'd like to think the Bills offense is better than the last time they met. Josh is playing better, Kincaid has emerged as a legit weapon. The running game is more diverse with running gap and done concepts. Shakir has become more of a concern for opposing defenses. Knox is back and even Harty looks quicker. I think the key is the oline. Josh didn't have a lot of time last game. However,bi think Brady has made some solid changes. Allen is getting rid of the ball more quickly. Negating lots of opposing teams pass rush. He's making really good decisions getting rid of the ball quickly. When appropriate he takes his *****. A good example was the seam route TD to Kincaid. In short, I think the Bills offense is much better, diverse, and in sync than the last meeting. I hope I'm right.
  15. I have no agenda. I'm not that smart to have one.
  16. Don't get me wrong I love Allen. He's special, elite, and can carry a team. However, to say Allen is better is very debatable. I think Mahomes is the heads down the best QB by most fans and football people. It's a stretch to say Allen is better especially since Patrick is dangling two rings while Allen is ring less. The Allen "will to win" vs Mahomes "will to win" comparison is a ridiculous statement. No offense. There is no edge on the will to win. Both are off the charts here. Did you watch Mahomes play on one leg last year? You don't win two rings because of a lack of wanting to win. For all practical purposes Reid is the offensive coordinator and play caller. Nagy is just a fill in. Reid is probably one of the best offensive minds in the game. Huge edge over an inexperienced Brady. Enough said here. Hopefully, the youngster can match or outperform the willy veteran Chiefs coaching staff. He's done a great job thus far. The task doesn't appear to be too big. The Chiefs secondary has a huge edge over the Bills depleted secondary. It's not even close. Have to give McD credit on how the D is performing with back ups galore. It's probably McD biggest and most impressive achievement this year. Hopefully, the success continues. This game may come down to special teams. That's a scary thought since the Bills punter has only one good leg, an inferior replacement, and a FG kicker that's very shaky right now. Huge advantage to Chiefs. Home field should be a huge advantage. This is where the Bills have the biggest advantage. I don't think anyone can dispute this. The Bills generally don't lose at home but this game and opponent is a different animal. I ask everyone to look at the home playoff game vs Cinci last year. Coaching will be huge this game. Reid has the clear advantage here. He wins big games while McD struggles in divisional playoff games and beyond. I think many Bills fans are secretly hoping McD doesn't blow it again. Sorry. However, this year feels different? Maybe that's just my homerism at work. Nevertheless, the monkey is on McD and the Bills. I believe for what it's worth the pressure is on the Bills to win. Thus far, the Bills have handled the pressure down the stretch magnificently. No one should question the toughness and resiliency of this team. One more time please, please, and please. Bills have a great advantage at the tackles, Chiefs running defense is not good, and the Bills pass catchers are better. The Bills have to take advantage of their strengths. All in all, this is setting up to be a classic game. A dog fight and heavyweight fight between two teams that know each other well. The Bills players and fans finally get their wish with a home game in Buffalo vs KC. We've been wanting this for years. The Bills management focused on building a team to beat KC. Is it be careful what you ask for or just what the football doctor ordered? Let's go Buffalo!!! We fans will give it our all to help the team get the W. I would love nothing more than to see Reid's fat ass and Mahomes whining ass march out of Highmark Stadium in their underwear. We haven't forgotten pain of 13 seconds. We haven't forgotten the grim reaper remarks about Mahomes. Sunday is the time for changing of the guard. The time for the Bills to shine! My old law enforcement gun range instructor used to constantly say "nothing to it but to do it." How fitting is that tomorrow? Go Bills
  17. The point is the head to head match ups are important to evaluate. A previous poster is citing how the Chiefs haven't beaten quality opponents this year. In summary, the head to head match ups are important while the claim of Chiefs losing to quality opponents is worthless. Hope that clears things up for you sir.
  18. I like where you are going. Lots of good points here. One likely a Chiefs fan can probably make a pretty compelling argument to why the Chiefs will win. I'm not going to do it but we all know what they would say. I can't get on board with the Bills winning big here. Not sure what you mean by not the slightest of margins. I'd be pretty surprised if either team won by more than two scores. I'd glady like to be wrong here and you right. A Bills blowout win would be orgasmic.
  19. Look at the head to head match up. That's obviously the best indicator not the performance vs quality of opponent. You think McD is telling the Bills players and coaches this info? Of course not because it's senseless data that means zero come Sunday. Not sure why that's so hard to comprehend. In the other hand, you can bet that the coaches have looked at the film of the previous match up. You can be foolish and stand by your argument. I won't be the foolish follower.
  20. It doesn't matter at all. Why would you go here when you could just look at what happened when the two teams played each other. It was literally a play or two that made the difference. They were down Pacheco and I believe Nick Bolton. If memory serves me right they were pretty banged up. The they didn't play anyone theory is right out the window here. Both these teams are elite with QBs that are amazing. Both coaches will have their teams ready to play. The real advantage for the Bills is the home field. It's a huge difference than playing in Arrowhead. I give the Bills the slightest of edge to win.
  21. I saw today almost everyone (Mina and crew) picked KC to win. I think it's truly a toss up game.
  22. I have never watched a replay of that game after it was over. I can't stomach the anger and pain. I believe it's part of the reason why I'm not a McD fan.
  23. Partly true. They lost games they should have never lost. It was also head coaching and defense as well. We all watched the games. McD's D was unable to stop offenses when it counted. No need to call out the games. An off sides call gifted the Broncos a win. To alleviate McD of blame is preposterous. To boot, he gave his blessings to Dorsey. He handed him the keys. To his credit, the team went on a big winning streak when it counted. The McD D has been able to close out games. He did change OCs. In summary, this season is mixed bag of very good and very bad with McD. However, it's very hard to complain about an 11-6 record and a 2 seed with an AFC East title. Thus far, McD has a nice playoff win under his belt. It's not uncommon for his team led by Allen to win. That's a lot better than Tomlin or McCarthy at this point. McD has been able to win in these exact scenarios. The real nemesis is the next round. Often, his team gets out coached and out planned by the opposition. Bengals and KC are stand outs here. Fast forward to Sunday. The Bills play who? KC the defending champs with the best QB in the NFL and a hall of fame coach. It's hard to not to get 13 second flashbacks. If there's ever a time for the Bills to succeed and get the monkey off it's back it's Sunday at Highmark Stadium. A loss would be very painful and somewhat demoralizing. A win would be euphoric and feel like maybe this is the year. I'm very nervous yet excited about the game. LFG Bills!!!!!!!
  24. You can spin it however you like. Nevertheless, it's a huge mismatch for the Bills. That's just reality.
