  1. I will concede that Reid > McD but I'm hoping the game doesn't come down to coaching. Players play and execute. I do believe both teams will be ready to play. Their game plans should be solid based on their knowledge of one another. I really think you see an aggressive and assertive McD coach on Sunday.
  2. I'm not going there. Let's talk football. Who is doing that? I think the board has been pretty fair about the upcoming game.
  3. I get that point of view and lots of what you say is valid. I'm not a huge fan of McD but it's hard not to rally behind him at this point. I still have my doubts he can lead the team to a Lombardi. That's just me though. A loss on Sunday certainly wouldn't give me any reinforcement that McD is the guy I think what's slightly being lost here is why was the team 6-6 and in that position? Should they ever have been in that position? Blame has to be placed on the head coach. Bottom line is McD dug himself out of the hole he dug. It's certainly a gave and take he. This team has been in this very position for years now. It's not to minimize the accomplishments. Accolades are in order. However, this team led by Allen has to progress further. No excuses no satisfaction, no no no. A loss on Sunday changes a lot. Questions about McD will and should be asked and addressed. Think Tomlin or McCarthy.
  4. Completely untrue. I've been wrong many times sir. Just because your logic is irrational don't get upset at me.
  5. Absolutely agree here. Mahomes' legs are a weapon and he will not be holding back. Bills D has to contain the edges but yet put pressure on him. Tough task to stop Patty. It helps that Kelce looks slightly off and his WR core is unreliable. I think they try to pound Pacheco to open up the passing game. Similar to what Buffalo might try with Cook. This game looks like a classic. I bet it comes down to the wire. Bass kind of scares me.
  6. Mahomes in the past has really hurt the Bills with his legs. Gotta contain him, not let him get big scramble runs, and extend plays. Easier said then done.
  7. The Chiefs defense is also much better in Arrowhead than on the road. I still expect the Chiefs D to be tough just based on the teams know each other well. Spags is a good D coordinator. Their secondary is solid as well. The Bills offense has to play well, execute, be diverse, mix the run and pass, and make a few big plays. They are more than capable doing so.
  8. Do you really want to go there? Then talk about coach McD. Does your premise still apply? Allen hasn't even sniffed a SB despite his play. Does your premise still apply? Like I stated before, you can't ignore changes that have been made. The Ravens have improved their offense and are more diversifed. The chances of Lamar being successful have greatly improved. Stop digging your hole.
  9. I agree in the short term. It was an unlikely outcome of success. However, the Bills should have never been in that predictiment. So it cuts both ways here. McD deserves blame and credit. I think a lot depends on what happens this Sunday. A loss will likely cause many Bills fans to be disappointed with McD. Similar to what Dallas and Pitt fans are saying and feeling about McCarthy and Tomlin. A win vs KC and an AFC championship game is likely seen as a successful season win or lose.
  10. Disagree here. There are many factors in play with Lamar. You can't negate or ignore the changes the Ravens have made. Their offense is not even remotely close to the offense of past years. Their offensive system is much more diverse, has legit WRs with speed, and a "lively" TE. Also, Lamar is more experienced and a better passer. He's not a great passer but he's improved, dangerous, and dynamic. The offense not one dimensional. That's the major difference. They do have a legit passing game. The Ravens are the AFC favorites for a reason and Lamar factors into that. To imply he's going to play poorly in the upcoming playoff game(s) is based on opinion not fact. An opinion that I disagree with.
  11. I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the info. He's kind of gone under the radar a bit.
  12. I don't know. I'm just focusing on beating the Chiefs. All that other stuff can be addressed later. I don't see how it's going to be downhill going to Baltimore. Does anyone else think the Texans could win?
  13. I don't see the Kamara comparison. Kamara is an excellent ball catcher and seems to have a bit more explosion. He's seemed to drop off quite a bit this year.
  14. So you are calling for a Bills win? I have it as a toss up. You better be right!!!
  15. I'll take your word for it. To be honest, I'm not familiar with him. I kind of stay clear of the whole situation.
  16. I can't argue with the data. Somehow, I feel like the data is or should be diluted with the Chiefs. Come playoff time Mahomes, Kelce, and Reid just win. Last year was a great example of that. To this day, I don't think they were that good.
  17. They certainly stuffed the Dolphins run game. I think the Chiefs can slow down the run game if they commit to it. Its a tough ask because Allen is so good. They also will have a spy on Allen. The key is their secondary winning the one on one battles. That secondary looks to be one of the best in the NFL. If the Bills pass catches aren't effective the Chiefs might load up the box. McDuffie is a good run stuffer
  18. What's really not being talked about much is the Chiefs defensive game plan. We all know Spags is pretty aggressive and will bring some timely pressure. This can be a game where Allen is running for his life. I feel like their secondary matches up very well with the Bills WRs. Diggs is largely a non factor vs KC. Shakir doesn't get enough volume and who knows about Gabe. Either way Gabe isn't reliable. The x factors are Kincaid and Cook. Both could have some big games.
  19. Number 2 really concerns me. This is the exact type of game that Milano would thrive in. I think we all know this...
  20. Agree the Bills really need Cook. In the past KC would be less concerned with stopping the Bills running game. I think a lot has changed recently. The Chiefs secondary is much better as well as the Bills run attack is. Interesting to see how successful the Bills can run it and how much KC tries to attack it.
  21. I like this optimism. Hope you are right by a million. You think they put Rasul on Kelce? Interesting. WR Rice looks dangerous. Someone has to account for him and his speed.
  22. Gunner, what would be the plan B to try to limit Kelce's success? I am really afraid of Mahomes legs in this game. He can really make huge plays by extending plays and taking off. I really respect the KC D. Josh can almost be unstoppable at times and the Bills will need his best version vs that D. I will mention that the Bills O did pretty well vs a pretty tough Pitt D. Granted no Watt tremendously helped. I think that's the most or pretty close to the most their D has given up all season. Do you think this could be a Gabe game if he plays? Lastly, I'd like to discuss McD. Against Pitt, his number one priority was stopping the run. The pass threat was minimal. Thus, the Steelers were a pretty easy game plan for McD. However, the KC offense is a totally different animal for obvious reasons. Despite their offensive struggles they remain a dangerous team especially in the playoffs. Last year, they won it all while many of us thought they weren't that good. Wondering what kind of game plan McD has to stop Pacheco who didn't play last game, Kelce, Rice, and Mahomes?
  23. Well the fact is the Bills defense is not healthy. Mahomes certainly won't get the best defense the Bills could have on display. Sucks, unfortunate, and sucks some more. Injuries always play a part in football. McD knows the Chiefs offense. He's been somewhat successful with his game plans. Unfortunately, not as much come playoff time. Hopefully, things change will the home field advantage. The next man up mentality has really been true with this Bills defense. Klein off his RV played remarkable well. Elam with a huge INT and Dorian Williams flashing. This is very encouraging. It will take a total team effort to win. The Chiefs team isn't as dominant as previous years. Yet, they are very scary with Mahomes and Jones anchoring their perspective sides. Not to mention their secondary is lights out. Reid will likely have a few tricks up his sleeve. On the other side, McD has done a superb job with his depleted D. Hopefully, it can continue. During the winning stretch his defense has been able to close the games. Gotta see it in this game; a huge playoff game. We all know this hasn't been the case. It's his nemesis if you will. Get the monkey off your back. I believe McD is going to be pretty aggressive on offense. I can see him going for it on 4th downs. On defense, Mahomes is a blitz killer. The front four has to get pressure. Likely they can attack their tackles where they appear to be weaker. I wish I could say it's Von Miller time. How great that would be. Just can't see it happening. Lastly, the Bills need McD not to blow it. I don't say this in a sarcastic manner. 13 seconds has to be on everyone's mind. It's inevitable. McD was fortunate that the end of the half debacle didn't cost the team. That absolutely gave Pitt life as they were on life support. Making coaching mistakes are going to happen. I get that. However, coaching blunders just can't happen when the teams are so evenly matched.
  24. Really no need to fact check it. It's off by a country mile.
