Thanks. I saw the criticism of Edmunds. It's probably deserved but to be honest I didn't focus on him. The defense looked pretty good.
I went into the game focusing on the offense and more specifically Allen. I am super pleased on how they played. Josh looked in complete control and command. Mechanics, vision, accuracy, and confidence were all spot on. Daboll's play calling and formations were really good too.
Nice post. I really like how the Bills mixed in the run, used motion, better formations, quick screen like passes to Beasley, and moved Allen around. To me, it's a winning formula. The run threat prevent a teams from teeing off on Allen.
Class act you are. I said I'd be he first to praise Allen when he plays well. Today, he was fantastic. I couldn't be more happier as a Bills fan to see it. Difference between me and many others on here is I'm not afraid to criticize poor play.
Good response. I wonder if it's even worth responding to such ignorance.
I don't care about that. It would be gravy. I'm just very pleased to see Allen play well. He was every bit the QB of last year. The Bills will be tough to beat with Allen playing like this and the way the defense is playing.
You make some good points. I'm not a huge fan of the no back 5 WR formation. I believe the Bills should present defenses with a threat of a run game, should do a little more RPOs to keep teams honest, and roll out Allen more. He can improvise which is a skill set of his. Lastly, a little less of Allen just running up the gut and between tackles. If Allen gets back to last years form it's hard not to let him sit back and rip the ball accurately to his talented receivers. Can't wait to see Allen get his swagger back. Hoping the Wash game will be the perfect storm.
