  1. I vote we go with only 1 hour windows to speed this up. I'll volunteer to take the "over time" picks unless there's any objection? Just want to see these results!
  2. Zero when he gets jammed at the line in the BIG BOY game.
  3. I have a confession to make. I live north of Toronto. Go Leafs! (but I'm just a bandwagon playoff Leafs fan....). DIE HARD Bills fan though!
  4. I get that too. I think they will consider long term cap issues. Would they be ABLE to retain him after this season? If so, great!
  5. Okay, so I didn't vote for the trade option because I thought is was a bit too "pie in the sky"....... and random. BUT I'm trying to find out if the Cardinals would even be interested in Oliver, if they need a DT. I found this: https://cardswire.usatoday.com/2019/03/29/ed-oliver-private-visit-az-arizona-cardinals/ So, I think that there would be mutual interest between the Bills and Cardinals for moving Olver in a trade. Expect a high pick on DT since most of our DL is in a contract year..... Moving Oliver helps with that just a bit. I'm trying to find out if the Cardinals have a DL draft need. I found this (I'll take this information for what it's worth): https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/cardinals-draft-needs-team-nfl-2023/ So, yes, the Cards could use an upgrade at DT. Do the Bills want to swap contracts? How would that look? I found this: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/arizona-cardinals/deandre-hopkins-12307/. About $19.5 Mill And this: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/ed-oliver-29044/. About $10.7 Mill And this: https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/buffalo-bills I'm not much of a cap expert but we're dealing with an increase in $$ of $9 Million..... Someone else let me know if this works...... Do the Bills want to trade down? Yes. Beane has eluded to that even..... Is Pick 34 a good spot? Yes. I think that Jack Campbell might be there, as well as a few OT options that I think will slide. Consider my vote changed to the Hopkins trade.
  6. Just want to ask. Is that Hopkins trade a possibility actually?
  7. I don't consider him a "top ranked" first rounder! Hot take #2. We draft Flowers and then he's WR 4 (and does nothing....) underneath a contract-year-motivated Gabe Davis, and Shakir who becomes a pro-bowl caliber slot WR after his training wheels rookie year. (I'm just poking fun here......)
  8. ONE of these top ranked players will slip to the bottom of round two or even to round 3. It seems to happen every year. Some round 1 talent takes an unexpected tumble. Last year for example, Utah Linebacker Nakobe Dean who was graded on most sources as a 1st round prospect, tumbled to the third round. I could see the same thing for SOMEONE on the list below. I've bolded a few that could have a higher chance of slipping... Christian Gonzalez CB OREGON Nolan Smith ED GEORGIA Calijah Kancey DI PITTSBURGH Brian Branch S ALABAMA Paris Johnson Jr. T OHIO STATE Myles Murphy ED CLEMSON Deonte Banks CB MARYLAND Michael Mayer TE NOTRE DAME Broderick Jones T GEORGIA Jordan Addison WR USC Anton Harrison T OKLAHOMA Emmanuel Forbes CB MISS STATE Lukas Van Ness ED IOWA Tyree Wilson ED TEXAS TECH Will McDonald IV ED IOWA STATE O'Cyrus Torrence G FLORIDA Dawand Jones T OHIO STATE
  9. Another Leafs fan? I'll be right here with many of you! (kids are going to bet a bit early....) I've got DAZN and will be at home enjoying the show (crossing off players from the "big board"). At pick 26, I'll likely be annoying everyone (including my wife) chanting. CAPTAIN JACK! CAPTAIN JACK! CAPTAIN JACK!
  10. Was tempted with Nolan Smith but just can't go Edge here.... I think that the Hopkins idea is nice, albeit unlikely....
  11. I think he's the full package. You don't see that often. His THINKING ability is amazing. He reads the play faster than any rookie I've seen recently, and is the ideal MLB. Great in coverage. Plus he can hit! Yeah, there's interest out there...... for sure.
  12. Yep. I agree. I think something close to a vet min, but incentive based. It would become more if he plays a full season, and starts all games.
  13. You know, I've been ragging on the smaller WR prospects saying that we need a big and physical target to add to the team. I still think that Johnston would be our best fit, but you can't deny Addison's and Flowers' talent. Not sure who I will pick this time.... Actually I do. JACK CAMPBELL! lol..
  14. Ooops. Thanks! Makes it a little easier IMO!
  15. 3 Away from the Bills pick. I've got (for the poll consideration): MLB Jack Campbell, Iowa OT Dawand Jones, Ohio State WR Quentin Johnson, TCU DT Mazi Smith, Michigan S Brian Branch, Alabama OC John Michael Smith, Minnesota WR Jordan Addison, USC WR Zay Flowers, Boston Col
  16. Calling @ScorpionZero, Calling ScorpionZero! I've seen your many mocks, and curious if you will be posting your FINAL mock on this thread.
  17. LOL.... Here you go. Ryan Greenhagen, Fordham U. AT 27. Nice call @Pine Barrens Mafia.
  18. He's clearly a POS teammate. I'm sure he's a great son, father, and husband. Don't get all deep on this. You never throw teammates under the bus. Never. He worked shoulder to shoulder with Davis, Shakir, Mackenzie, Crowder, and Diggs..... Everyone woking their tails off day in and day out. This guy..... Sorry but agree to disagree....
  19. FINAL MOCK: Bills trade #27 to the Seahawks for #37 + #83 37 (from trade): MLB Jack Campbell, Iowa 59: OT Matthew Bergeron, Syracuse 83 (from trade): DT Siaki Ika, Baylor 91: S Jammie Robinson, Florida State 130: WR Kayshon Boutte, LSU 137: OC Juice Scruggs, Penn State 205: S Rashad Torrence II, Florida
  20. I can't stop thinking about the amazing transformation of DJ Fluker at the Alabama pro day. AMAZING. Regardless if you like the guy or not as a prospect, you have to give him credit for his determination and absolute success to a CRAZY level for what he was able to accomplish as a player and as a person. I'm going to outline why I think the Bills should take a serious look, and even SURPRISE the league (especially us fans) but signing him on an incentive-based contract. Start him at RT or slide him to RG, let that man compete. I personally envision him as a mauling RG, more than a RT. Some might say he's not built for it. I'll show some comparisons below to help dispel those UNDERSTANDABLE (if kneejerk.....) reaction. Here's a clip of that transformation (in case you missed it) (more below) As a starting point, I think that a good place to look, is at Isaac Seumalo, the ex-Eagle who was by all accounts the most coveted OG on the FA market this offseason. Here are his measurables. Seumalo Height: 6'4'' Weight: 305 pounds Arm Length: 33'' Hand Size: 10'' Fluker (compared to Seumalo) Measurables Height: 6'5'' (+1 inch) Weight: 330 pounds (+15 lbs) Arm Length: 36 1/4'' (+3 1/4") Hand Size: 10.5'' (+0.5") I understand there's the whole leverage thing, but leverage is mainly created by pad level, and we're talking about ONE inch... Yes the arm length is 3 inches longer, but the man is a steam roller. Very strong, so I think if he locks on? YOU. ARE. TOAST. I'm just going to put my hand up high and say "Hey Beane! Look over here!"
  21. Cole Beasley is a POS. Never liked him.
  22. Wow, that's a tumble for Mazi Smith, but if we could pull THAT off, it would be amazing! AND you get LaPorta and Vorhees! You're hired!
