He’s had more than 2 injuries though. He got concussed against the Patriots in 2019 running for a first down and he injured his shoulder scrambling to the sideline against the Raiders in 2020. Still agree with the rest of your post though.
Oliver and Gabe for Darnell Mooney and an early day 3 pick. Then use the money it frees up to sign another vet DT like Daquan that will actually show up and do their job every Sunday.
I believe in all of this completely and would not be shocked at all if he made a big leap this offseason and became a quality starter. Doesn’t change the fact that he sucked hot booty cheeks this past season and going into next season without adding a RT that doesn’t suck would be incredibly foolish.
In his 2 full seasons as a starter
2020:
pass - 64.4
run - 68.8
2021:
pass - 70.7
run - 65.1
His overall grade during those 2 seasons was better than both Bates and McGovern.
Way more meaning than your cherry picked plays
Awwww someone’s trying to act smug and confident because everyone is dumping on their terrible takes
It’s starting to look that way
Please go find the non-existent list of safeties that are as fast as Hill and Waddle. Instead of allowing the lowest passer rating in the league, like he did in 2021, now he’s only top 10. What a washed up bum!
He’s good and would definitely be an upgrade but let’s be real. He has 1 cheap year left on his contract and has never even had a 1000 yard season. Giving up the same as what we gave up for Diggs would be crazy.
Depending on how the board felI I wouldn’t mind drafting Kincaid if I thought Dorsey would actually utilize him effectively. He lines up as a WR most of the time already and looks really good doing it. I definitely agree about not wanting an in line TE though like Mayer/Musgrave/Washington.

The 14:00 mark of this podcast has a Cowboys podcaster doing a good assessment of the move. To summarize, he said that he looked ”dramatically” better at RG playing for an injured Zack Martin than he did playing at LG in 2022. This would allow Bates to move back to LG where he has said he’s more comfortable. McGovern can also play all 3 spots on the iOL just like Bates. He also said that he thinks McGovern’s style/skillset is better suited for the Bills offense than the Cowboys. Sounds like there’s a good chance McGovern could be an even better player in Buffalo than he was in Dallas.
