  1. Would you do it for Hughes+Addison+3rd pick? That shuffles 10 mill to the cards, we take on Jones' 15 mill and have the possibility to extend his contract. I'm not too familiar with the NFL's rules about restructuring a contract that a team has traded for, but if that were possible could be pretty sweet. Get Jones then turn the 15 mill this year into 2 years at 7.5 mill and extend him...
  2. It's a bicep injury, just get the surgeon to replace the tendon with some heavy test fishing line and he's good to go.
  3. Yeah ur right, I figured he's good for maybe 5 more seasons at best anyways. Those double digit sack numbers are really enticing. Only one season removed too (kinda like Star). I'm not sure how often a torn bicep equates to a career ending injury. I agree with a lot of points made so far tho, and I would still be willing to give Chandler an opportunity for a few seasons, but i'm not so sure it's worth giving up a 1st anymore.
  4. Understandably thats a lot spent, yet, will any of those 3 be starting this season? Epenesa maybe, and that's if they make some serious decisions about Hughes/Addison still unlikely tho. Honestly, what else do you see the bills putting that first rounder towards next year? another corner? the roster is practically complete at this point and I don't know about you but I don't see TE the pathway to a superbowl ring. Only thing holding a move like this back, in my mind is prioritizing extending Allen/Edmunds.
  5. because he's a proven decorated QB killer that the young ones can model their game after, this guy would be a huge addition.
  6. Cardinals could face Chandler Jones holdout with no contract extension (usatoday.com) Chandler Jones, 31 (one year younger than Julio), has yet to show up at an offseason practice (like Julio), despite living year-round near the facility. This is a team leader who has done nothing but represent the team with class on and off the field, and someone who could be held up as an example to others. Yet he is a no-show. Oh, and he deleted every reference to the Cardinals from his social media, a telltale indicator if there ever was one. And he hasn't put anything back. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/why-julio-jones-may-not-be-only-blockbuster-jones-trade-on-nfl-horizon-cardinals-sack-star-deserves-more/ https://cardswire.usatoday.com/2021/05/26/chandler-jones-contract-extension-holdout-possibility/ Jones is a monster.. wonder if Jerry and a first would pry him loose from AZ https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JoneCh03.htm
  7. all that freedom last season means Star been using the HGH for a full year now, he's gonna be a force. 😂 I saw a trend with vets being away in the depth heavy positions. it seems like they only really wanted rooks and guys under the microscope there.
  8. Josh Thomas, DB, App State https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/josh-thomas-5.html https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2020/4/25/21236100/buffalo-bills-2020-nfl-draft-udfa-tracker-live-updates-open-thread
  9. I like seeing the organization have that '' next - man - up '' mentality.
  10. i have a feeling this pick could drive a wedge between fans in the next couple seasons...
  11. most the players ppl wanted Beane to take at 7 are probably gonna be UDFA'S and might still be options
  12. in 2018 he had the most touchdowns in the SEC and the NCAA? https://ibb.co/v3RM5MF
  13. ya I agree. I know this sounds crazy but I think Cole Beasley might be sitting on a hotter seat than we think.
  14. they should just draft WR's for the entire rest of the draft and pray they get a star.
  15. we can argue this from the same height once josh allen starts breaking records.
  16. to be fair that was Lamar's first year, and he broke mike vick's record. they are projecting really well.
