Really? I’m blaming our Special teams for the loss.. I mean the refs missed two obvious penalties (the off side by Buffalo on the Pats 3rd possession. To make it 2nd and 14 and the obvious PI in the end zone on Buffalo) but I don’t think they decided the game.. I mean I was ticked when they missed them at the time but I was more upset like I said with the special teams play than the refs.
You’re one of the good ones 😁

If he was playing I would place it at 3. These teams, with the matchups, are pretty evenly matched. I think their sort of offense can easily exploit our defense. We essentially need to rely on our offense putting out otherwise we lose.
Tua can really only throw to his first read in the middle of the field on those quick timing routes so I don’t think it’s THAT close. They certainly could win though.
he’s accurate but his tendencies are pretty easy to gameplan against.
our oline was a mess last time missing two starters…I think we would’ve won comfortably otherwise. Looks like tyreek and waddle are banged up too
id set it in the -5 through -7.5 type range

Wow -10 seems to imply bettors don’t think tua will be playing. You’d think it would be closer to 5 ish if he was

Pats fans all blaming the refs on the internet it seems…which is genuinely puzzling. They missed a few calls both ways

They already beat them twice. Their second round game is equivalent to our first round.
Chargers were in control of that first game then Herbert threw an unfortunate pick six in the end zone because the receiver was gassed from the huge play he had just made and couldn’t make a play on the ball.

Im no Debbie downer, but if you think this matchup isn’t a tough one then you haven’t been paying attention to where the Bills have shown themselves to be vulnerable.
I believe we will win this game, but there is no question we have the absolute hardest road to the SB in the NFL right now. Our beat up secondary has to go through Dolphins WRs then likely through Cincy’s to likely face off against Mahomes and KC again.
Yes we can win all 3 if that plays out like that, but we are down to our 3rd string safety and Tre isn’t all the way back yet and lacks the burst against those fast WRs.
Mac Jones just out scored our offense today 24-21. We can’t bank on ST TDs every week. We need someone besides Diggs to step up on offense to help Josh out.
So again, we should win this game, but to mock anyone who sees it as a tough matchup seems off base to me. It is a tough matchup, and no gimme.
Mac jones didn’t outscore our offense…the offense would’ve had two more possessions there if hines didn’t return those kicks and we were in fg range taking knees at the end of the game.
I don’t think Miami is an easy win but I’d rather play them than NE. NE has a tough front 7 and they are a bit harder to gameplan against on offense. Miami for sure has better skill position players but the book is pretty well written on tua’s tendencies

Outplayed might be a stretch…It was pretty evenly matched throughout though… and the Dolphins had the lead late as they were running at will on us due to some shotty tackling….and I recall more than a few occasions where they abandoned the run despite that fact and it saved our ass…
And Josh saved the game offensively.
They can’t run on obvious running downs…all their rushing success comes from running on light boxes

Is bridgewater healthy if tua doesn’t play?

If we don't have talented DB's, that will be exploited against KC or Cin.
I think we will beat Miami. Somehow someway.
But all of the pressure is on the Bills in this game. Miami is playing with house money.
We have played both kc and Miami this year with an even weaker secondary than we have now.

That secondary has to be way better or Hill will torch them like Blueberry Hill.
It was an even worse iteration of the secondary in our first matchup against them

Miami matches up well with us though. And they will likely have Tua.
They don’t really imo…their defense is whack and we can get after their oline. We don’t have talented dbs right now but tua is a one read guy and it isn’t too difficult to disguise coverages on him. Not saying Miami can’t win the game, but NE is a tougher matchup imo. They were mauling us up front today. Steelers wouldn’t have been a walk in the park either. They’ve got good receivers and a tough front 7

Funny all the negative responses for pointing out the obvious that this was always the worst possible WC match up for the Bills assuming Tua is back.
I don’t think it is…that NE front 7 is vicious. Same with PIT with TJ Watt back. Those are the kind of teams that usually cause us trouble. I’d take josh in a shootout over tua every single time. Now tyreek and waddle are banged up also

agreed.
we are the better team but they have the most explosive guys of the 3 possible opponents and that could bring volatility
Worst defense also though…I think people were sleeping on pit as a potential opponent now that TJ Watt is back.

Hate this matchup right now. We are so out of sync. If Tua plays… barf.
Miamis defense is nowhere near as good as NE’s

There’s no doubt about it. Hill and Waddle will run wild on this secondary. They’re both banged up it looks like

Tyreek will be fine and Tua will be back, and I assume Armstead.
Need a great week of practice… and maybe some snow flurries next Sunday!
They might’ve lost waddle…I’m not sure if he came back. Tyreek got banged up too but he returned

That wasnt even bad. You're not allowed to block before reciever catches ball... refs should call that more often
I think you can if the block starts within a yard of the line of scrimmage

Bad pi call makes up for that bad chop block

Cant stop Mac....who can you stop in the playoffs?
Pats have a solid running game…bengals and chiefs really don’t. So it’s not quite apples to apples. Bengals have some big time liabilities on the offensive line right now too.

I didn't get that impression at all from Romo...He was calling it "storybook" to start the game and almost crying.
‘Dane Jackson is a budding superstar’ lol. Whoops meant to reply that to the post asking when we started hating romo

Elam looks like he doesn’t trust his athleticism. So he’s holding and afraid to get a half step behind
I’d be holding too in a game with no flags thrown lol

A few posters were saying the Bills were "dishonoring" Damar Hamlin with their play earlier in this thread. Please get that ban hammer out mods.
Man I must’ve missed that…the fact that they’ve already playing at all is absolutely incredible. That would’ve made me mad to read

Dorsey's offensive scheme is pull the fire alarm, light the gas can, and watch everybody run around out of control
That brown play broke down instantly due to quick pressure… loved the read option call before that but josh kept when he should’ve handed it off.

That was a very strange chop block call then today which could’ve had a huge impact on the game 😂.
