To be fair, I think the Cowboys and the Eagles are probably significantly better overall than the Jets and Dolphins, although you could argue that the Eagles and Dolphins are roughly equivalent. Cowboys definitely > Jets, though.
Cowboys got absolutely hosed on that flop by Ramsey/opi call...rams shouldve lost that game imo

Is this all it takes to get a 300 yard game? Like not run the ball at all?
they were running the ball it was just wildly unsuccessful 😄 not to mention they had a shot to throw for 400 if the jets made it a game...to me this game didn't have the vibe of 'they did everything they could and just barely cracked 300' but maybe thats just me lol

It would be a very difficult sell if shes making it up I feel like...she couldnt work or drive anywhere just has to sit home waiting for payday.

I really wish they would have mic’d up JJ Watt for this game. I am genuinely interested in what he has to say today.
Probably "let's go" that's all he said last week lool

special teams is just as important as the other units.
I never understood why people assume good special teams play is just assumed lol Pats are a 9-7 team this year without their absolutely outrageous special teams unit

Dramatic not enough! Daboll, McDermott, and JA cost us hosting the AFC Championship Game!! My anger had almost died down, but between yesterday and now today, I'm back to McDermott and Daboll need to go RIGHT ***** NOW!! And then hang up.
Lol refs wouldve never allowed the Bills to play in the superbowl. It may not seem like it now but this probably saved you some heartbreak ? league would be too terrified of the 9ers stomping us. Probably wouldve seen that common sense rule used against us again.

Honestly I'm so sick of people crowning teams before the game is played...I'd love to see the texans win this one. Had to listen to people who make a fortune for talking about football predicting theyd get blown out all week and we know all about that as Bills fans ?

Only they had an offense. We didn't.
What the titans did last night is exactly how the bills want to win we just dont have the personnel yet...aj brown and henry are gigantic...they make the defenders look like the jv squad lol

Hard to argue.... I think the difference was Henry and their offensive line in the run game. They were getting 4-6 yards a pop. Bills struggled to run the ball consistently all year.
Jonnu Smith also made that HUGE contested td catch that completely changed the game. I dont think the Bills made a play like that all year.

I was on a podcast before this game and said this exact statement , that Tenn has a similar defense and Buf laid the blueprint , predicted Lamar would be super ineffective.
Wasn't hard to see. He's a 1 read QB that uses play action as a crutch , is terrible at going through progressions and reading a defense , ppl just get enamored with the jukes and stuff but that's not sustainable for any QB.
Whether through injury or great defense , a QB will never be able to win a SB relying on his legs for the majority of his success. Even his pass numbers are all a result of the run game
I think this is what excites me about Josh Allen...it looks like they're putting a lot of effort into developing him the right way so he doest use his legs to bail him out of jams all the time. While lamar is playing at a higher level now I dont think the ravens are doing him any favors long term by just playing to his strengths all game every game. Watching him not being able to hit those throws outside the numbers gave me some flashbacks to when teams figured out tyrod couldnt make throws in the middle of the field and tyrod/roman seemed to have no answers

There were a few plays the OL let Allen down. Typically this season vs 4 or less they did a good job. I'm not exactly sure why they were confused at times. When lineman are confused it's typically because they're in the wrong protection. Josh Allen has final say on all protection calls. I'm not saying Josh Allen put his line in poor position on plays but it's likely. Cody Ford simply got beat on a couple.
Oh yea no question it would be on him if they were in the wrong protection. I'd have to rewatch to confirm this which would be torture but yesterday it seemed like it wasnt the wrong protection as much as it was guys couldnt hold blocks down the stretch. That 4th and 27 play was a disaster where they were in a max protect hail Mary situation and gave up instant pressure...the only option josh really had was to throw the ball away on 4th down which would not exactly be a decision that we celebrated either ?

Allen got extremely lucky. He made some very good throws, but his negative plays outweighed the good. That was a very bad defense he was facing.
Does it matter how bad their secondary is when you're giving up instant pressure on a 3 man rush in a max protect lol the bills offense was rolling until the offensive line was getting absolutely whooped every play down the stretch...which has happened in every one of these "josh allen has regressed" type games. They had 4 linemen with a shot to block one defender on a designed QB run to essentially win the game and nobody did...think that summed up the season perfectly

I thought he looked concussed for most of the latter part of the 4th quarter. He had a strange expression during that time and played far differently than he usually does in late game situations. Many strange decisions that seemed to indicate he just wanted the game to end one way or another. When it kept going, he just looked more and more confused. Why all the hate for the throw to Dimarco?...yea hes "double covered" as in theres two guys near him but he absolutely had position on them. A little lower of a throw or Dimarco times his jump a little better and that's a gigantic completion. That's an honest question I might have seen it wrong lol but in the moment that play didnt really upset me at all. I did get the vibe he was concussed as well on that should have been game winning designed qb run where he took the "incidental contact" helmet to helmet hit. Hes laying there holding his head for awhile after the play and I thought maybe it was frustration that the play got blown up but watching the hit again it looked pretty brutal

Do you understand the actual rule? By the letter of the rule, the call was correct. Ford was blocking towards his own goal line.
A "common sense" interpretation of the play would make it clear it was not a blindside block. But the refs already used up their one "common sense" over ride of the actual rules, when they stole the TD from the Bills in the first half.I think the debate is with the "initiate forcible contact with his head shoulder or forearm" part not the "toward or parallel to his own end line" part. looked like a weak push leading with his hands to me which is legal. It is extremely debatable that the call was correct even by the letter of the rule...and given the situation and the way the game was going you absolutely cannot call that.

First post ever wooo. Just for some context...Josh has faced 3 of the NFLs top 5 defenses in a row two of which being on the road in prime time situations...one of which being the second meeting against arguably the best coach of all time. and 5 top 10ish defenses in the last 5 games. Both sides of the Josh Allen debate have valid points for sure but its very possible that they head down to Houston and light up the scoreboard and do enough to beat Baltimore. I cant think of a team that's better prepared for playoff football right now. Sure he hasn't been perfect but hes done enough to get the Bills to the playoffs which is an entirely new season. Josh has definitely shown the clutch gene and maybe he hits on more of these big plays in the playoffs. This is honestly a team I could see playing in the AFC championship these are exciting times boys and girls. Let's hold off on all these josh allen isnt a franchise qb talk until after January haha
