The Bills can and usually do beat them in Miami.  If not for the ridiculous scheduling of an early-season game in Miami after the Bills came off a Monday night game, they would be 10-1 against Miami (and that 1 loss was because of Charles "feet of" Clay dropping the game-winning TD) with Josh.

Dolphins need a full defensive rebuild to compete with buffalo…just a terrible matchup for them.  Their defense is built pretty much the complete opposite way of what it should be and their one advantage of having a bunch of good pass rushers has been pretty much neutralized by the bills oline improvements and josh being mobile

on an individual game basis anything can happen of course, but in a big sample size Miami is gonna lose a lot more than they win against us.  They are just allergic to picking up LBers that can hold up in pass coverage

I agree … it’s like nine out of ten games or something …

You think they would have the slightest respect and humility …particularly with the issues Tua has had…

It’s crazy because even the game we lost against them last year we moved the ball with ease and it was pretty flukey that we didn’t score more points. They really haven’t made josh look even mediocre a single time.

That other loss his rookie year he had a couple turnovers but went off for 135 rushing yards and 221 passing yards

I don't get why she'd be interesting.  Kelce already can't have privacy in the city he lives in, but he can go to a bunch of other places and people won't know who he is and he can be relatively anonymous.  If he's with her there are very few places in the WORLD you can go who won't know her and there will be cameras everywhere.  I guess some people don't care about that but that'd be a dealbreaker for me. Yeah she's pretty. There are lots of pretty women in the world and if you're a multi-millionaire you've got access to plenty of them.

I swear it started off as a joke about him trying to give her a friendship bracelet then both their pr people were like ‘hold up I think we’ve got something here’ lol

It's not a gimmicky offense at all and saying so kind of down plays how well we were able to play it. Everything the Dolphins do is designed to get defensive players eyes in the wrong spots and create numerical advantages through movement. This much motion is the future of offensive football.

I think we are the first team that wised up to using the motion to help us jump the snap count for whatever reason.  the DL was all over the throwing lanes right off the snap like they were getting shot out of cannons. There seems to be a disadvantage to the way the dolphins use motion that wasn’t really capitalized on until this week.

With their defense and running game, mediocre QB play might be enough to be problematic.  Wilson isn't lighting the world on fire tonight but here they are at the end of the 3rd tied 20-20 after being down 17-0.

It’s mediocre in the right way…there’s no world where Wilson is better than rodgers but he is avoiding a ton of sacks that rodgers likely wouldn’t.

This is turning into a game the Chiefs have 1-2 times a year against a bottom feeder, where they sleepwalk their way through but still win late … sort of games the Bills lose

Jets legitimately have the defensive weapons to stop the chiefs…this isn’t like a ‘just sneaking past the raiders because we don’t care that much’ type situation imo

This season is nutty.  Go Jets? Any way that the Chiefs can get knocked down a peg.

Jets are just well built to slow down teams like the bills and chiefs.  They can stop the run from a light box and blanket wrs all at once.  I feel like we’ve gotta go more under center/play action in the next matchup

Spreading the field with wrs and mixing in an occasional run out of shotgun just isn’t doing it

“Sugar high Josh” goes back like 3 years.

I still don’t really get this label… he makes positive ‘sugar high josh’ plays with regularity and everyone takes it for granted.  But the moment one goes wrong everybody instantly piles on

Still more scared of the dolphins O then the chiefs.

Mahomes can use the whole field and actually go through progressions/make plays when the pocket breaks down.  With tua you at least know exactly what you’re going to get coming into the game

From a skill position talent level though I’d agree

  10. Jets defense is just scientifically engineered to beat teams like the bills and chiefs.  There’s been no panic in their offense that they might have to match tds all night in either of those games this year.

a lot is regurgitated opinions but also if you call the top 5-6 elite, he’s going to be on that list for most if not all for a reason

It’s not like he’s 17th if suddenly being more objective

Is this a talking head that thought Josh was trash like 5 minutes ago?

I guess that depends on how much recency bias you’re factoring in so I can see both sides of this. burrows been mediocre at best so far this season but that doesn’t at all mean he won’t turn it around.

that second point is fair but the bengals have been shut down on offense for like 6 halves of football now.  Josh really only had one bad half and he bounced back pretty quick.  Idk that they’re gonna continue to struggle but I can see people being critical

If Zach Wilson was even average the Jets would be winning this game

He’s been pretty good at avoiding pressure…this reminds me a lot of our game against them and I wouldn’t mind seeing the same result lol

Jets have great linebackers.  I thought Quincy Williams was their best player in the game vs the Bills.

Idk why the dolphins don’t wise up to this…they’re gonna keep getting smoked by josh Allen until they invest in some good coverage linebackers.  Seems like they’re always lookin for pass rush specialists.  Trading a 1st for Chubb was a disaster

I thought Rivera not going for 2 and the end of the game was bad. Saleh should know the Chiefs are out of his team's league... your only chance to win is to not play conservative.

I didn’t hate it…probably would’ve had to use another timeout after converting that 4th down then you’ve only got 25 seconds 1 timeout to get the ball in the end zone

normal clock situation though and I’d absolutely agree

Fangio doesn't have the luxury of all pros at nearly every position either. Holland is about the only player in the secondary worth accounting for.

They have 0 coverage linebackers too…the dolphins really built their defense completely backwards as far as matching up with buffalo goes it’s really bizarre.  They’re loaded up with good pass rushers but josh buys himself enough time to pick on their dbs/linebackers even when his OL is bad but they seem pretty good this year which makes it worse for Miami

Josh will probably always be the first half MVP favorite. Then we'll have a rain game followed by 2 games with 40mph wind, while the other candidates play in perfect weather.

The weather has really boned us the last few years as far as Josh’s mvp chances go.  Seems like we’ve had 7 or so bad weather games each year the last few years

Tua will forever be a system QB. When things don’t go right, he doesn’t have the athleticism or improvisation skills to make off-scripted big plays. He’s good at what he does which is distribute the ball accurately and on time. Unfortunately, everything needs to be nearly perfect for that offense to hum. Tua just isn’t on an MVP level to me.

It pains me how obvious this is yet people that get paid a lot of money to analyze football never bring it up 😂. If he has to hold the ball for even a split second longer than the optimal amount of time his effectiveness plummets
