I haven't had a chance to see the game yet (NFL Network is replaying on 9/4 at 4am - DVR is set), but I notice that we were called for 3 penalties for 15 yards...quite the improvement over the last couple of games.

Had to renew my registration on my car (well, my birthday is in October, but I wanted to get it out of the way), so I finally went ahead and got my personalized plate that I've been planning on for a while. If any of you are in Ohio and see my car with: GOB1LLS be sure to honk and say hi!

I saw him last Friday night at the Funny Bone on the Levee in Newport, KY (right across the river from downtown Cincy). Funny, but it got a little annoying, as he had a 1 hour set and spending over half JUST doing his George Bush impersonation. The last part got a lot better, as he threw in Bill Clinton, Dick Cheney, Yoda, John Madden, Terry Bradshaw, Al Pacino, and others... Not that the GWB impression wasn't funny, he just needed to shift gears and the crowd was noticeably getting bored. His Madden was especially funny...made the comment that Madden probably has love poetry for Brett Favre under his pillow on his bus. Everything was Brett Favre this, Brett Favre that (and very accurate!).

EXACTLY...kind of funny that people like Peter King were just recently saying that Bills players still preferred Holcomb...seriously, when was the last time he updated his research? They're all relying on the SAME outside info to make their own "insightful" contributions... I know most of the locals don't care much for the locals news guys, but I at least respect them as credible sources of info.

I think that its safe to assume that regardless of who gets the start, the rotation will ensure them all plenty of breathing and playing time...unless someone starts getting pushed around, I see our DL as more of a corp than just a couple of players.

I didn't double check that my DVR (on my PC, part of Windows Media Center) was on the right channel last night, and since the IR blaster (that changes the channel on my satellite box) is pretty flaky, I woke up this morning to find that my computer had been recording an hour long infomercial on Fox Sports Ohio. I now have it set to record on Tuesday, 8/29 from 4pm-7pm

I've listened to it hundreds of times this offseason (its even my ringtone), but its not the same as hearing it at the Ralph
