My Keys to winning tonight: Offense needs to play loose and aggressive for 60 minutes If the offense commits a turnover McDermott can't give everyone watching the game the impression he soiled himself, or go into captain queeg mode. Stick to that plan and Bills score a ton. -

They will be less than a TD favorite. A win would not be a HUGE upset -

Ben Solak (The Ringer) Analysis of Josh's Decisions this Year
Chaos replied to JohnRVA's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right, less than perfect, just the best. Allen also leads in fourth QB comebacks during his NFL career. No one score lead is ever safe with McDermott's defenses if there are more than 13 seconds left in a game. This is an indisputable fact. -
Finally, someone else gets it.

Ben Solak (The Ringer) Analysis of Josh's Decisions this Year
Chaos replied to JohnRVA's topic in The Stadium Wall
In Allen's career the Bills have been about the best at moving the ball between the 20's. Last year and this year the red zone offense was not nearly as good as the between the 20's offense. Any analysis of Bills problems on offense, other than the red zone woes, is a complete waste of time, because there are no other problems, only a lack of perfection, which is a completely different thing. -
Nothing is evident in Allen's public personality to suggest he would ever undermine someone else. He also likely won't ask to be moved while he is under contract. But when his contract is up, if we are still dicking around with McDermott and/or Dorsey and having early playoff exits, Allen will enter free agency. Its incumbnent on Beane or Pegula to figure out the situation on their own.

Does this mean the same thing as : "Bills win in spite of poor coaching." ?
-
That is not the hypothetical i responded too. I responded to some comment "if the bills don't beat the broncos by 2 td's dorsey should be fired". So you are not on point at all.

Is 10 Wins enough to make the playoffs? What is the path to 10 wins?

Why do you think the personnel situation will improve? Joseph and Douglas? -
So your saying if the Bills beat the Broncos 48-38 (less than two touchdowns) Dorsey should be fired.

Everything except for this sentence seems well thought out in your post (at least I agree with the rest). The Bills defense has not been able to make a critical stop since London (one can argue the goal line stance that only happened because of crappy defense against the giants was a stop). But the last possession against the Bengals was more telling. The only time in the second half it truly mattered to Cincy whether or not they moved the ball, the defense reverted to "let them go through us like a hot knife through butter" mode. The Bills are fully capable of losing to the Chiefs or Chargers 42-40, or some other similar shootout score. If the defense doesn't play better, then "semblance of an offense" won't be close to enough. Unless of course by "sembalance of an offense" means, Josh Allen has to play at his full record shattering level potential and lead the offense to 40+ points. -
In the poll “is ten wins enough” there is no consensus of whether or not it is. Split opinion. But I would say there is a consensus that 10 is the minimum to make the playoffs. In the second question “path to 10 wins”, the vote indicates that the voters think we will fall short of 10. However over 95 percent of respondents think beating the Broncos is part of a realistic path to 10. D-Day was a must win. Football is just a game. But the likelihood of making the playoffs seems to plummet if we don’t beat the Broncos.

The criteria provided is not beating the Broncos by two TDs. A mentally challenged criteria if there ever was one.

McDermott answers why we stopped uptempo offense

Complimentary posting. Obiligatory "defend the nonsense coach comments" post. -
Harty is small and has average speed and average moves. Beane blundered on this one, not the coaches. Sherfield could never be as good as Gabe Davis, in anyone wildest dreams. That pretty much sums up why Sherfield has no impact. He is the definition of a JAG reciever. Every team has at least two guys like these.
