2019 Playoffs. 1st round
Greg S replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Raiders just got smoked two weeks in a row including one by the hapless Jets. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Titans win at Oakland this Sunday. Oakland isn't good enough to win out and I don't care who they are playing. -
Week 14 - Ravens (-6.5) at Bills Over/Under 44

The Ravens may have never won in Buffalo but Baltimore has if you factor in their Colts days. -

If I were a Pats fan I would want Buffalo to win so NE can get control of the #1 seed if they beat KC. The Pats have beaten the Bills 28 out of 30 times or something like that. I would think going to Baltimore for the playoffs would make them nervous considering what happened a few weeks ago. -

Blame KC/NE. That is the only reason we aren't getting Romo/Nantz. -
I hope Michael Irvin is on tonight's episode of Inside the NFL. Do you think the Bills did the impossible and actually made him STFU about his precious Cowboys. Every week he babbles on about Cowboys this, Cowboys that, Cowboys going to the Super Bowl. I can't imagine he is still on his Dallas Super Bowl dream even though he is a big time homer.
-
Hopefully Singletary and Gore do the same. SF ran it down their throat last week as well.
-
How the hell did the Browns beat them? If I remember correctly they beat them in Baltimore and it was a blowout win.
-
Maybe we can pull a Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan on him on his way to the stadium. Either that or sweep the leg like in the Karate Kid. Lamar will get his and the Ravens will score. Bills will need at least 28 IMHO to win this game.

Week 14 - Ravens (-6.5) at Bills Over/Under 44

This has to be the biggest game in Buffalo this late in the season in years/decades. I really want a win here. Everyone thought the Dallas win was huge. That will be nothing compared to what a win this week would be. If the Pats lose then the division is really up for grabs. I can't wait to see the atmosphere in OP this Sunday. -
Bills - good fans but someone could point out the late 70's and mid 80's specifically 84 and 85 and question our loyalty. Jets- same as Bills. They haven't had a blacked out home game since the 1970's. Games are always sold out even if their are empty seats at MetLife. PSL's priced out many fans. Fins- during the 1970's and the Marino years they were very popular. Not anymore. Pats- do they have any real fans? They all jumped on the Belichick/Brady bandwagon but before that the Sox, B's, and Celtics were more popular in Boston. If you mention Steve Grogan to a Pats fans they will ask you .."Who is that"?

If they can beat Baltimore than I can see not only a shot at the division but also a chance at being the #1 seed since they would have the tiebreaker over the Ravens. They will have to win out and it definitely won't be easy. What I would love to see this week is the Bills get huge win over the Ravens and put pressure on the Pats with their 4:25 start against the Chiefs. Things will get real interesting if the Bills can beat the Ravens. WC spot basically clinched, a shot at the division and #1 seed all on the table.

Tom Brady looks and sounds “checked out” to me
Greg S replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Pats will be a tough out in the playoffs because of their defense. I know it seems like forever waiting for Brady to decline but I think "father time" has finally caught up to him. His play hasn't fallen as badly as Peyton's did the last two years of his career but it has declined. At 42 he isn't going to get better. -

At Pitt won't be easy for both the Bills and Browns. -

Close game from start to finish. 20-17 Bills. -
Cowboys. I will never root for the evil empire unless its a situation where they win that helps the Bills.
-
Detroit Bills, Buffalo Lions. Ralph was from Detroit so that would explain it.

2019 Playoffs. 1st round

I actually think the Jets have a good shot to upset the Raiders. WC team coming east for a 1:00 game. Gut feeling no other reason. -
At the end of the day it doesn't really matter what they wear as long as they win, but I actually like that they mix it up at home with the uniforms. I just wish they would lose the blue on blue and red on red. Wouldn't mind seeing white on blue at home and that was the primary home look in the early 80's.

Take a look at what the Ravens and Rams are wearing....WOOF

3-3 over next six games and we make playoffs
Greg S replied to Watkins90's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well the Ravens are due for a bad game so hopefully that comes against the Bills. The Browns beat the Ravens bad in Baltimore if I remember correctly. -
I do think the Bills will win this week in a close game but even at 8-3 they will not be favored in the next 4 weeks.
-
After this week the only game the Bills will be favored in is the Jets game.

Could Bills @ Steelers get flexed to Sunday night or 4pm?
Greg S replied to Negan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Definitely possible. Steelers have national appeal plus both teams are in the playoff race. -
The game is in Pitt so I expect the Bills to be slight underdogs. My guess is Pitt -3 but it is a game that is very winnable. I have no doubt the Bills D will cause problems for the Steelers. How Allen and the offense do against a tough Steelers defense will be the key. Of course turnovers and special teams play also play a part like they do in every game.

McDermott and the coaches will be probably start work right after the Broncos game. Every team that plays on Thursday goes thru it. Also I bet the Bills coaching staff put in work on the Cowboys during their bye week to get ahead start for the game.
