  1. I don't think any AFC East team cracks NE's top 5 rivalry. Early on during the Pats dynasty it was probably the Colts and Ravens. Later on it became the Steelers and Broncos. NE always seem to play these teams in big regular season games as well as playoff games over the past 20 years. I would add the Giants just because of the 2 Super Bowls and they did ruin NE's bid for a perfect season.
  2. The Jets really only have 4 rivals. Pats, Bills, Dolphins, and Giants. The Colts used to be a rival but that died when they left the division. The Raiders have their own rivalries going on with the Chiefs, Broncos, and Chargers. I don't think the Raiders or Jets consider themselves rivals. Even though I am a Bills fan I also happen to be a Jets season ticket holder ( I live in NJ) and their always seem to be a lot of fights between Bills and Jets fans at least in NJ. These fanbases don't like each other at all from what I see.
  3. Speaking of the Jets it looks like Jamal Adams and the Jets could be headed for a divorce. If not I hope he holds out and misses week 1 assuming the season starts on time. He is one of their better players. https://nypost.com/2020/06/18/jamal-adams-maybe-its-time-to-move-on-from-jets/

  5. I hope he is wrong about this. It sucked having the NHL playoffs get cancelled. It sucks that baseball hasn't started but football is on a different level for me. It's my favorite sport. If this gets cancelled it will be really depressing.
  6. https://news.yahoo.com/football-may-not-happen-fauci-130650171.html My meaningless opinion is it gets delayed to a later start as a worst case scenario. To much $$$ to be made. Of course this has to(might) happen when the Bills are primed for a great season.
  7. I went with the Hughes trade for the purposes of this poll but the best Bills trade that I remember was the 3-way trade between the Bills-Colts-Rams where the Bills got Bennett. That was a real game changer.
  8. Happy Birthday #78.
  9. https://nypost.com/2020/06/17/the-patriots-may-still-be-an-afc-east-nightmare/ More from the NY Post.
  10. Jets fans have a nice little AFC East poll going on. https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/152520-2020-afc-east-polls/
  11. Agree 100%. If they let Beane and McDermott call the shots then I think the Bills will be a contender more often than not. Hopefully that means a championship along the way.
  12. When they took over Marrone quit because he wanted the Jets job (if I remember correctly). Whaley was already the GM. Rex was a mistake but they acted quickly to correct that. Beane is their 1st GM hire and McDermott their 2nd HC hire. I would say overall they have done a good job with the Bills so far.

  14. All they have to do is sign Beane/McDermott to contract extensions and then stay out of the way. Look at Robert Kraft as an example. With the exception of signing the checks, what does he do for the Pats? He lets Bill run the entire show and I would say that has worked out for him very well. The Pegula's have it right with McBeane. No reason to meddle and **** that up.
  15. Which drives home the point about having a strong management team run the show. The Bills were just like the Sabres a few years ago. Spinning their wheels and going nowhere. Replace the GM/HC every few years over and over again. Beane and McDermott changed the culture of the Bills. The Sabres need the same. If you judge the Pegula's on only the Bills then they are considered good owners. Judge them off the Sabres and its a different story.
  16. They need someone to run the hockey ops for them. The Sabres have been a disaster under their ownership. On the flip side they are doing a good job with the Bills. Having Beane and McDermott run the show has been a blessing for Bills fans. The Sabres need that same kind of leadership that the Bills have.
  17. There are so many great guitarists from all different kinds of music. If I were to start a list mine would start with Hendrix and SRV as co #1. Having a difficult time picking one over the other.
  18. Brian Costello also covers the Jets for the Post. He is a cheerleader for the green and white.
  19. As an Isles fan I can tell when the Isles hired Lou Lamoriello who then hired Barry Trotz it gave them their strongest management team since the Cup years with Bill Torrey and Al Arbour. Prior to Lou and Barry the Isles were horribly run. Yes their are differences with the NFL and NHL but you still need a strong management team in place if you want to succeed.
  20. They need to find their "Beane-McDermott" for the Sabres. They have hit a HR with the Bills but continue to strikeout with the Sabres.
  21. LOL. Never. I am also a Yanks fan so I have hatred for both the Pats and Sox.
  22. It doesn't work for the all blues or all reds but the all whites both current and throwback look great. If it were up to me the Bills would have the following uniform combinations. White on white (current and throwback) Blue over white ( current and bring back the throwback) Red over white White over Blue. I think the red jerseys would look sharp with white pants.
  23. Another guitarist who should be mentioned is Les Paul. He was an inspiration for many future guitar players. Many who were mentioned in this thread.
  24. I remember the 1982 season was a strike shortened season. I believe it was 9 games. The Bills started out 2-0 then the strike hit. Finished 4-5 and missed the playoffs. No worries for this season. I expect 16 games and if I can't go to the games then I will watch on TV just like everyone else.
  25. The NFL is going to play a full season. With fans in attendance that is the question in doubt.
