  1. I was going to come up for this one from NJ but with no guarantee fans will be allowed I can't see making the 6 hour drive.
  2. To me it's between Hendrix and SVR as the best. Honorable mention to Clapton.
  3. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/nfl-uniform-rankings-2020/11cu2k3r8iklb15mjpe8r0r5my I am not the only one.
  4. Only when they are wearing white on white (current or throwback), blue over white, or white over blue. They break out the other crap and that drags their standing down to middle of the pack at best.
  5. This is off of wikipedia Roussimoff has been unofficially crowned "the greatest drunk on Earth"[91] for once consuming 119 12-US-fluid-ounce (350 ml) beers (in total, over 41 litres (72 imp pt)) in six hours.[92] On an episode of WWE's Legends of Wrestling, Mike Graham said Roussimoff once drank 156 16-US-fluid-ounce (470 ml) beers (over 73 litres (128 imp pt)) in one sitting, which was confirmed by Dusty Rhodes. The Fabulous Moolah wrote in her autobiography that Roussimoff drank 127 beers in a Reading, Pennsylvania, hotel bar and later passed out in the lobby. The staff could not move him and had to leave him there until he awoke.[93] In a shoot interview, Ken Patera recalled an occasion where Roussimoff was challenged by Dick Murdoch to a beer drinking contest. After nine or so hours, Roussimoff had drunk 116 beers.[94] A tale recounted by Cary Elwes in his book about the making of The Princess Bride has Roussimoff falling on top of somebody while drunk, after which the NYPD sent an undercover officer to follow Roussimoff around whenever he went out drinking in their city to make sure he did not fall on anyone again.[95] Another story also says prior to his famous WrestleMania III match, Roussimoff drank 14 bottles of wine
  6. That is joke. I can tell you in the NY metro area in terms of popularity it goes like this. 1. Yankees 2. Giants 3. Jets or Mets (depending on who is doing better) 4. See above 5. Knicks 6. Rangers 7. Isles or Devils (same as Jets-Mets) 8. See above 9. Nets The NYC media doesn't give a crap hockey. NY-NJ-LI area is basically a football and baseball market. The other sports are secondary. If the Knicks ever become an NBA team again then they will get their share of attention but still trail the Yanks, Mets, Jets, Giants.
  7. He is no longer alive but if I could go have a beer with one person it would have to be Andre the Giant. He won the honor as the world greatest drunk. Fellow wrestlers confirmed his legendary drinking. On one occasion Andre drank 156 beers in one night. Google Andre the Giant drinking stories and listen to some of the wrestlers who were there tell their stories. Some pretty crazy stuff.
  8. I think two games would be perfect and not just for this preseason but going forward as well. The starters barely play except for the third game which is the only one that comes close to an actual game. Nobody really cares who wins. The only thing I hope for is that the Bills get out of the preseason without any injuries.
  9. https://nypost.com/2020/06/10/nfl-may-shorten-widely-loathed-preseason/
  10. I would take him back on the Bills in a minute to be Allen's backup. Plus he would a good mentor for Josh in handling the job/pressures of being a QB.
  11. Bob Weir - I am a deadhead. He could probably tell some interesting stories Jim Kelly - Bills legend. Nothing else needs to be said Larry David - Love "CYE" and Seinfeld. A genius as far as comedy goes Mike Bossy - Isles fan here and he was my favorite Islander Ed O'Neil - loved Married with Children. Al Bundy one of the great TV characters of all time.
  12. Yup. No disrespect to Eric Dickerson and his 2,105 yards in 1984 but the real single season rushing record is OJ's 2,003 yards in just 14 games in 1973.
  13. Despite his reputation being in the toilet with everything that has happened after his football career, you can't deny he along with Bruce Smith are the two greatest (most talented) players to ever play for the Bills. If judged by only his playing career then he deserves to be in the HOF and remain on the Bills WOF. If he were removed I would completely understand. If OJ is allowed to remain in the HOF then why isn't Pete Rose in baseball's HOF. Pete gambled but his crimes were not nearly as serious as OJ's.
  14. LOL. I am a Bills fan in NJ so I actually do get a fall season. Last year we really didn't even have a winter. I haven't used the snow blower the last 2 winters actually.
  15. Give me the fall over every other weather season. The temperature is comfortable and most importantly its football season.
  16. Jamal Adams responds. https://nypost.com/2020/06/04/jamal-adams-to-drew-brees-jake-fromm-bulls-t-ass-apologies/
  17. Thanks for the update. I can't see the Bills getting a new stadium anytime soon with everything going on in NY. Unless the Pegula's want to do the heavy lifting financially (they don't) then New Era it is. I am fine with that as the real fans and not the corporate crowd can still afford to go to the games. I have seasons to the Jets and have been to many Giants games as well. Both teams lost their homefield advantage by pricing many of their fans out. They have the corporate crowd at MetLife. I personally miss Giants Stadium. Their wasn't a bad seat in the house there. Like New Era it was built in the 70's and didn't have all the luxury's of a new stadium.
  18. I didn't know it cost that much. What about the Chiefs then?
  19. Had tickets for Guns N' Roses at MetLife for July 18th.
  20. Do what the Chiefs and Bears did and just make upgrades to the stadium when the time comes. I know the Bills recently upgraded the stadium a few years ago. The only thing wrong with New Era is it was built in the 70's so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a new stadium (bars, restaurants, shops, more luxury boxes) that the owners want.
  21. I would give more credibility to a dissertation by Mike Tyson on quantum physics than I would Peter King's football rankings.
  22. Good point but their is so much to choose from with the Bills that there will be a lot of different answers.
  23. Maybe this should be another thread but what about a Mount Flushmore. worst draft - J.P Losman - the Bills traded their 2005 1st Rd pick as part of a package to get back in the 1st Rd of 2004 and select JP worst FA signings - Marv was a great coach but remember his stint as GM. How about the Langston Walker 5 year 25 million and Derrick Dockery 7 year 49 million contracts Levy gave out. worst HC - Hank Bullough or Kay Stephenson. back to back 2-14 seasons in 84 and 85. What a nightmare. worst GM- I am going with the Marv Levy experiment here as the above signings prove. I am sure their are better choices and the older Bills fans can point back to examples in the 60's. My choices are from what I remember as complete disasters.
