Mike Tirico to call Steelers-Bills
Greg S replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is the one thing that is disappointing. The Bills are finally on the big stage and fans aren't allowed to be there which is the correct move. If this were a normal year the atmosphere at Bills stadium would be insane especially for this one. -

Does it really matter who is announcing this game. No matter who it is we will hear the Steelers are great, Ben is a legend, Tomlin is the best coach in football not named Bill, will Pitt go undefeated, can Pitt knock off KC in the AFC championship, can Pitt win a Super Bowl, blah blah Pitt blah blah more Pitt. -
Week 13: Sunday Games Thread, Around the League
Greg S replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if NE is allowed to stay in LA (covid reasons) as they play at the Rams this Thursday night. I expect this LA team ( the good one) to show up and make NE 6-7. Looked like the Chargers just quit on Lynn. 45-0 is a college blowout score not an NFL one. Having NE still in the race might be a good thing. They play the Dolphins after the Rams. Hopefully Bill can make life miserable for Tua just like he does most rookie QB's. NE knocking off Miami would be a good thing in this case. -
It’s official. The New York Jets legendarily suck!

Get ready to be shocked then. At 0-12 why would they fire anyone now and ruin their chances at the #1 pick. They will clean house after the season. I bet Gase doesn't even make it to "Black Monday". I bet on SNF's pregame show Florio will announce the Jets have fired Gase. -
Week 13: Bills at 49ers on MNF (in Arizona)
Greg S replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They beat the Steelers on SNF then that is when they will get respect from the media. I could care less if the media likes them or not. I only care they continue winning. But the Steelers game will be "THE GAME" for national respect. -
I am not so sure about Darnold. Yes the Jets have done him no favors but he doesn't appear to go thru his reads/progressions quick enough to be a successful QB. For a 3rd year QB who is supposed to be a franchise QB that is a red flag. Look at Burrow and Herbert both in their rookie years have played much better than Darnold. Look at how far Allen has improved from his rookie year. Yes the Bills have helped him building the team around him but Allen sees the play much better and makes better decisions in knowing where to go with ball. Yes he still has the occasional blunder but overall he is a much better QB. Darnold doesn't look like he has the "it" factor that you need to be a top QB. Allen is showing it in year 3 and Burrow, Herbert have in their rookie years.

He won't be there. I bet he won't even make it to "Black Monday". The Jets finish the season at NE for 1:00 game. I bet sometime during the 4:00 games or definitely by SNF it will be announced he was fired. If Douglas hits a HR with the next HC then Jets could turn it around. The Johnson's could easily ruin it though.

Also 2020 Josh >>>>>>>>> 2019 Josh. I just hope the Bills don't get caught looking ahead. I know McDermott is all about the process and focusing on the task at hand. The players are human and lets be honest next week's game on SNF is probably the biggest regular season game in OP since the days of Kelly. Just a shame 72,000 won't be there as the atmosphere against an undefeated (most likely) Steelers team would be insane. -
Just like them. I think their blue over white is a nice look just the Bills. I like their horseshoe logo as well. IMHO.

It would be a good guess. That is the only person I can think of even though wrestling isn't a real sport. That is why I wouldn't call Andre an athlete. Plus he was huge and never really in good shape.
-
If it wasn't for the "athletic" part of the clue I would guess Andre the Giant. He is dead and French. Wrestling is somewhat of a "sport".

If you factor in the all reds and blues then I agree with you. They aren't close to the best. If its just the blue over white, white over blue, all whites (current and throwback) then they are top 5 IMHO. Others I put up there....Raiders, Colts, Chargers (especially the powder blues), Packers.

Steelers take a hit - Bud Dupree

At first I had this as a loss for the Bills but now I think they will give them their first loss. I think the 3 games in 11 days will play a factor as well. -
Did you see Tomlin and Ben's postgame comments. Both were not happy. Tomlin especially. He was asked why did they have trouble when they got into the RZ. His answer was "US SUCKING". He basically said everything was bad. Ben said what Tomlin did. He was also asked about the "weird week" playing on a Wed and said "NO EXCUSES". He wasn't happy about the schedule either. He sarcastically said "we have a couple of hours before we have to play our "doubleheader" against Washington now.

Don't know if this was reported on TBD but Daily News Jets beat writer Mehta Manish apparently crossed the line where the Jets banned him from their facilities. https://deadspin.com/daily-news-beat-writer-allegedly-tailed-jets-gm-s-son-1845758305 -

Terrible news as you never want to see anyone get hurt. Hopefully he can make a full recovery and the same goes for the Bengals Burrow as well. That was another horrific injury. -
What is a successful season for the 2020 Bills?
Greg S replied to BITE ME's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I forgot to add sweeping the Pats and Dolphins along with winning the division and a playoff game. Going 6-0 in the division would be a nice accomplishment.
