  1. They should merge with your thread as the title since you have "John Lennon" in it.
  2. I was thinking the same thing. Most of those outcomes are probably in the Bills favor. For me this weekend I want LA over NE, KC over MIA and a Bills win. If those happen then they are in great shape.
  3. Also 3 games in 11 days for them. That is a lot of football over a short period of time. That has to be wearing them down somewhat. I still expect a tough game though.
  4. Reading pages 3 and 4 of this thread made me laugh. SAR 1 is at it again with his crazy talk. He is an obvious troll but he is trolling his own fanbase.
  5. After last night I wouldn't be surprised if its a pick em or the Bills are slight favorites by Sunday night. I would guess most money will be on the Bills this week.
  6. Homefield really doesn't mean much without fans. In a normal year I would want the Bills to go for the #2 seed and get those potential 2 home playoff games. This year they first need to clinch and then I would think about resting players who could use it. It will be interesting to see what McDermott does.
  7. Yes but the Bills are undefeated against a Delvin "Duck" Hodges Steelers team. So we got that going for us.
  8. I wish the Bills would have had an opportunity to give them their first loss. Three games in eleven days for them could be tough but I expect a pissed off Steelers team coming to Buffalo after a loss. Tomlin looks and sounds angry in his post game comments after a win so I could only imagine what kind of a mood he will be in this week. This game will be tough but winnable. 10-3 would be a nice and since KC will probably beat Miami a Bills win would all but guarantee the AFCE.

  10. People need to get used to this. Plus all of these primetime games the Bills are getting show that Beane and McDermott are doing a good job in rebuilding the Bills. Wait until next year (hopefully things are back to normal) when fans are going to be leaving the stadium after a primetime game. Think of what time you will be getting home from that. At least this year you can watch it from home and then go right to bed. Its the price fans have to pay when their team is good.
  11. They have a lot of draft capital along with possibly getting the #1 pick. They have a chance to rebuild quickly like Miami if JD does well in the draft and they hire the right coach.
  12. I agree with you but pointing out that Boomer made mention of it this morning on WFAN. From Cowher's standpoint he has a great job. He gets paid millions to watch and talk football without the stress and long hours that coaches put in.
  13. This morning's NY Daily News has the Steelers as a 2 point favorite.
  14. Didn't Al skip the Bears-Packers game at GB last week with Mike doing the game. Anyway the game will be played in an empty stadium so its not he will be missing the Bills game day experience that the fans bring.
  15. On the WFAN this morning Boomer Esiason hinted the Bill Cowher thinks the Jets job is the most interesting one out there that could be available. Usually when talk about Bill possibly getting back into coaching comes up Boomer says no way. He says Bill is happy at CBS . It should be noted that Bill lives in NYC and his wife is a huge Jets fan. Maybe something comes of it maybe not. For Boomer to suggest that Bill is intrigued could mean something. Morning Show with Boomer & Gio @WFANmornings Boomer seems to be hinting that Bill Cowher seems interested in coaching again...he also seems to be saying that Cowher thinks the Jets job is the best job out there...interesting 7:16 AM · Dec 7, 2020·TweetDeck
  16. This is the one thing that is disappointing. The Bills are finally on the big stage and fans aren't allowed to be there which is the correct move. If this were a normal year the atmosphere at Bills stadium would be insane especially for this one.
  17. Does it really matter who is announcing this game. No matter who it is we will hear the Steelers are great, Ben is a legend, Tomlin is the best coach in football not named Bill, will Pitt go undefeated, can Pitt knock off KC in the AFC championship, can Pitt win a Super Bowl, blah blah Pitt blah blah more Pitt.
  18. I wonder if NE is allowed to stay in LA (covid reasons) as they play at the Rams this Thursday night. I expect this LA team ( the good one) to show up and make NE 6-7. Looked like the Chargers just quit on Lynn. 45-0 is a college blowout score not an NFL one. Having NE still in the race might be a good thing. They play the Dolphins after the Rams. Hopefully Bill can make life miserable for Tua just like he does most rookie QB's. NE knocking off Miami would be a good thing in this case.
  19. Get ready to be shocked then. At 0-12 why would they fire anyone now and ruin their chances at the #1 pick. They will clean house after the season. I bet Gase doesn't even make it to "Black Monday". I bet on SNF's pregame show Florio will announce the Jets have fired Gase.
  20. They beat the Steelers on SNF then that is when they will get respect from the media. I could care less if the media likes them or not. I only care they continue winning. But the Steelers game will be "THE GAME" for national respect.
