  1. Because nothing drives a fan base crazier than unreached potential.
  2. Yeah that makes total sense lol. If you drafted the best QB in the NFL, you would pay him market value no matter what. Good pick. If you drafted the best pass rusher in the NFL, you would pay him market value no matter what. Good pick. If you draft a “solid” ILB, they will get overpaid by some garbage franchise and aren’t enough of a difference maker to be worth paying. Bad pick. See above.
  3. Bears thought, like many Bills fans, he made multiple ProBowls so he must be good lol. Tyrod Taylor effect
  4. 53 was covering Jones. Edmunds has the middle zone. He goes left instead of right, bang TD Packers. Did you notice there was already a defender on the guy Tremaine went to go help? Lmao. This is the story of Edmunds career. Large completion in his zone? Oh, well it wasn’t technically his man so it’s all good. Misses the ball in the air, resulting in a completion? Oh, it was a tough play for any ILB to make. It must be nice to be playing the middle in and no matter what happens, it wasn’t your fault. Perks of being a zone coverage scarecrow that can’t cover. I watched the whole game. What’s it called when you presume something then are biased in confirming that opinion. Hmm, it will come to me. Thanks for playing!
  5. Here’s the thing. No one or very few folks were out here claiming that Motor was really this special talent that mere mortals couldn’t help to recognize. He was a solid running back and those aren’t worth paying ever. No ill will. Meanwhile, the Big Scarecrow (tm) is currently manning the 31st defense in the NFL and allowing a 100% completion percentage while being targeted. How was it not on Edmunds? He has standard middle zone coverage. He picks right, ball goes left and BANG, touchdown Jordan Love. The Scarecrow was supposed to not let angle routes go for 75 yards.
  6. Do his receiving. Spoilers, he took a 75 yarder to the house because middle zone Tremaine picked the wrong guy. Watch the games lmao. Nah it does. A first round pick is an extremely valuable asset. Even more so when it’s a trade up and not in the late stages of the round. You should spend first round picks on guys/positions where if they are a pretty good player, you don’t let them leave the building. Like QB, WR, EDGE or pressure, CB, LT.
  7. If the player isn't worth a second contract, they aren't worth trading up in the first round for.
  8. Watch the games. Aaron Jones took his lunch money
  9. Spencer Brown was aided a lot schematically, and also lucky the Raiders don’t have any other quality defenders.
  10. Allen didn’t just have a bad day. the Chiefs defense only gets the credit you’re giving them because Mahomes still mustered 300 yards and 2 TDs to one pick. If Allen had that vs the Jets, it would’ve been a blowout. Meanwhile, if Mahomes melted down and had 4 TO’s, they would’ve lost to the Jags.
  11. Lmao yes the Steelers are bursting at the seams with OL talent, didn’t you watch last night?
  12. I know the adage is you can’t teach size, but these physical specimens with terrible technique almost never pan out at the NFL level at the level they are projected at. The best OL players are usually much more technique than physical gifts, especially in pass pro.
  13. Correct. easily predictable from a divisional rival that wants to power run anyway. here’s hoping it’s easy for McD and the boys to predict and be proactive, rather than get outcoached and saved by Josh.
  14. You should’ve went with: ”Josh Allen Excuse #5561: it was only the Raiders”
  15. A total aside, but the Bengals sniping DJ Reader out from under us like 5 years ago is one of those low key moves that changed both of our franchises and still affects decisions today.
  16. It’s not really 12 personnel if Kincaid is split out in the slot. It’s the same as 11, just with a guy called a TE out there.
  17. I say that we are 1-1. Beating a non-playoff team, while encouraging, doesn’t have me in the “we are unstoppable” crew just yet.
  18. I still think our S group is upgraded compared to last year. I’d take a slightly older Poyer and Hyde over fully healthy Hamlin, Cam Lewis and the boys
  19. He was good, but he wasn’t on the HoF track. Payton is an interesting case study because 3 straight .500 seasons with a HoF QB putting up Star Wars numbers is as much as of a black eye as a coach can have with a superstar QB. BB has basically been a .500 coach WITHOUT Brady. McD would be on the chopping block if we went .500 3 straight years with Allen, and rightly so. Sean Payton wasn’t just Drew Brees’ coach, he was the man in charge of the organization. Their inept defense ultimately fell on his shoulders as well.
  20. Mario Williams had a way better career than Jerry Hughes, turrible example for a solid point.
  21. More importantly, Zack Moss had his best day of his career behind the Colts and JT’s OL. It’s almost like RB play is devalued in the NFL. No way
