I really liked Hamler coming out. He was a sneaky WR target in the second that I wanted the Bills to get. All that being said, he has proven to be closer to a less durable Goodwin. It would be nice if he could carve out a decent career but he should be looked at like a lotto ticket at best

Beane also elevated McKenzie to replace Beasley. Is McK even in the league anymore?

I hear ya. problem is difference making EDGEs rarely hit FA unless they are old or injured. I also think with these scrambling QB’s, and the way defenses move their EDGE players around, good RT’s are becoming more and more valuable. I’d also like some long term stability at one of the book end positions if Dawkins doesn’t finish his extension (which I suspect may be likely). 100% agreement in Rousseau. He’s closer to prime Shaq Lawson than a difference maker and that’s a player you let the Panthers overpay for in FA.

Probably the TO’s. I think if you polled every single defensive background coach in the NFL and asked the one thing that is the most important for the offensive to do, it would be not turn it over. Not saying they are right or wrong, it’s just ingrained in their DNA. It’s why McKenzie and Cook were shown the bench everytime they let go of the football.

The big re-signing debate to come is Spencer Brown. we had to extend Dawkins for cap relief, so it will be interesting to see what Brown gets after last season. If he maintains that level of play and remains healthy, he may be the highest paid RT on the market next season. I think it’s between him and Rousseau for big money extensions, and imo I’d take Brown.

I hear you. I don’t think it’s malicious or anything, I think he ran the offense McD wanted. I think it’s just more proof that he will run what McD wants going forward.
