  1. And without half our offense playing.
  2. Or not seeing the field and going thru his reads.
  3. Correct most guys in now won’t be n the team.
  4. Couldn’t agree more. The practices really give the staff the opportunity to make the evaluations. It’s the last few spots on the roster that come down to preseason game performance.
  5. Yep, and that will probably be his NFL hi light.
  6. These are 4th string who have zero chance of making the team.
  7. Hart may be the worst O lineman in the league.
  8. Exactly. He took one step. There’s no way you can stop that momentum.
  9. Please explain. He took one step and didn’t plant the QB. You could see him let up.
  10. Got pushed. He didn’t dive at his legs.
  11. He’s got those inspector gadget arms.
  12. Actually he looked good on the last two pass plays. Run blocking has been pretty good.
  13. Agreed. He’ll be a 3rd down option for swing and screen passes.
  14. Rookie QB’s rarely play on a team that has success leading to a playoff run. A couple reasons is that they are rookies and teams that start rookie QB’s are generally weak (which is why they start a rookie QB). Jones to me looks like an immobile QB with at best an average arm. If he is playing the majority of snaps I will make a guess of no more than 7 wins. This is based upon other first year QB starters records.
  15. If that. They’ll probably average around 16 points per game with that offense.
  16. Understood. I think there is a lot that goes into those numbers, such as how many snaps the player gets and whose playing in front of him. I imagine most of those listed didn’t get the majority of snaps their first year thus contributing to limited number of sacks. Since our leading sacker last year only had 5 sacks if Rousseau gets 4-5 sacks he’ll look like a steal.
  17. That’s an interesting discussion because for kicks and giggles I just looked up this past years sack leaders and the majority of the top 10 DE sack leaders were in fact drafted beyond pick # 25. I’m not sure what stats Capaccio is referring to when he makes his claim.
  18. I think Joe may need a new watch. But to your point, he is very fast. Just blowing by DBs like they’re standing still.
  19. Agreed. How many times have you seen a DE just miss getting a sack because the QB was able elude the rush. What I’ve noticed about his tape is that his length allows him to get sacks others wouldn’t get.
  20. The stats back up that the RBs weren’t the problem with the run game. Singletary and Moss were both in the top 10 in the league for yards after contact.
  21. You are confusing “exciting” with competent.
