  1. OK, all together now... "The Bills beat the Niners!" Buffalo Bills 63 San Francisco 49ers 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! 17 and 2 baby!!!!!
  2. Be prepared to duck and cover next week as they all push each other out of the way to scurry back aboard the bandwagon... Buffalo Bills 63 San Francisco 49ers 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! 17 and 2 baby!!!!!
  3. Larry Page and Sergy Brin - both 39 - come to mind immediately. Did you want a long list?
  4. Hear me now, believe me later... Buffalo Bills 63 San Francisco 49ers 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! 17 and 2 baby!!!!!
  5. Just when the Cheatriettes* are about to enter a 10-year decline? No thanks. Now that *NE's period of dominance has been fully exposed as a total fraud, based entirely on cheating at every possible opportunity, I'm looking forward to a decade of payback.
  6. The level of dishonestly, deceit, contempt for the rules of the game and good sportsmanship, and downright criminality displayed by Belicheat*, Brady*, and the entire Cheatriettes* team* and organization* is so severe, and so far beyond what even I surmised, that I can only respond with this single monosyllabic palindrome... Wow.
  7. Good heavens, WTF did they do to it??? A disco beat???!!!! Stick to the original (the link I provided), or, for added visual drama...
  8. Such cacophony! What ever happened to the more conventional, standard-issue, melodramatic music-of-ominous-portent as an appropriate prelude to a major sporting event - say, for example, the much over-played " " from Carl Orff's Carmina Burana???
  9. John Murphy asked [Ron] Jaworski what is so tough about this New England defense. His answer? “Nothing.” (link) I agree with Jaws... Buffalo Bills 115 NE* Cheatriettes* 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!!
  10. Absolutely. Of course.
  11. Then there's this... Moorman's 32.7 net punt average ranks No. 31 in the NFL, but his release was a surprise, considering his history with the team (he was a seven-time team captain and two-time Pro Bowl pick). Bills running back Fred Jackson tweeted: "WTF??? Released Mooreman??? For What??" Really shouldn't have been much of a surprise.
  12. OK, you're idolized by millions of young kids and about to launch a cereal with your picture on the box... Which one of these is more inspiring? .
  13. The OP is misguided; Jaws and I see a different outcome... The pride of Lackawanna, Ron Jaworski...has spent a lot of time looking at the Bills so far and he said the people that have stood out to him the most are Nick Barnett, Bryan Scott, and the entire offensive line. Getting ready for this upcoming game, John Murphy asked Jaworski what is so tough about this New England defense. His answer? “Nothing.” (link) Buffalo Bills 115 NE* Cheatriettes* 0 GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!!
  14. I know - I thought he was talking about Bobby Heenan.
  15. I'm with you, Ramius, and thought the Bills would - or should have - kept Powell on the practice squad... link We're just lucky the Jets did not sign him in after he worked out for them in early September. Shawn Powell (By the way - now that we have 3 "Buffanoles" (Bradham, Sanders, Powell) on the squad, where are The Cowgirls???)
  16. Because it's Tuesday, and there are no issues of consequence to discuss. (Or weren't any, until 3 hours ago )
  17. Well, since Moorman was going to be a 37 year-old free agent next season anyway, I gotta say I'm not totally shocked - except for the timing, and that they didn't keep Shawn Powell on the practice squad as I suggested they should back in August... link I'm assuming that Powell is still available and they've contacted or already signed him? (I know he had a try-out with the Jests after we cut him.) Let's hope Belicheat* doesn't sign Moorman tomorrow... GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!
  18. The Senator has always been top-notch in my book!!!!
  19. Not to nitpick, but it was indeed a desire for more exposure, not the disciplinary issue - which was only a one-game suspension that Gronkowski brought on himself by being a jerk. (Guess he had it in him all along, even at that young age.) Yes, young Rob was already "on the national radar" as a H.S. junior, having received scholarship offers from 10 major schools, but he (and likely Daddy Gronk) felt he needed even more exposure - and, as we all know, the competitiveness of college recruiting at that level is cut-throat. No doubt he increased his value and improved his offers by attending a bigger high school with a nationally known program... Despite the success he attained at Williamsville North, Gronkowski shockingly announced his intention to transfer to Woodland Hills High School in Pennsylvania---a powerhouse team in the state consistently ranked within USA Today's Top 50 List---a decision that drew controversy. Apparently he became aware of the school a couple of summers back when he was attending an Adidas camp at the University of Pittsburgh. Initially, Gronkowski was denied eligibility by the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League because it claimed that the student-athlete's reason for relocating was for athletic reasons which is against the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association rules. The Gronkowskis made an appeal and luckily for them, the WPIAL decision was overturned thus allowing him to play his senior year at Woodland Hills. The PIAA did hand Gronkowski a one-game of ineligibility which would parallel the suspension he received at Williamsville North for a disciplinary action taken in regards to an incident where a vulgar e-mail was said to be sent from Gronkowski's e-mail account to that of a North teacher. Then, there 's also this gem from Daddy Gronk... The WPIAL was not going to investigate Rob Gronkowski's transfer until league officials saw comments Gordie Gronkowski made in the Post-Gazette Aug. 13. Gordie Gronkowski said there were two main reasons he and his son moved to the Pittsburgh area a few weeks ago and rented an apartment in the Woodland Hills district. First, Gordie Gronkowski owns five G and G Fitness Equipment stores in the Pittsburgh area. Secondly, his son wanted to play a higher quality of football. Gordie Gronkowski told the Buffalo News this weekend that his comments to the Post-Gazette were taken out of context. "The whole thing was a setup," Gronkowski said. He's actually on-record as saying he wanted to be drafted by the Bills and would have loved to play in his home town, for his home town team, in front of all his family and home town friends. And, IIRC, there was a bit of a ground-swell here on TSW for the Bills to take him. (I don't recall any similar swell of support for Torell Troup, though.) IMHO, however, it remains questionable if Gronkowski would have enjoyed his current success sans Brady*/Belicheat*. Well that surprises me, but they do say that the mind is the first thing to go! I assume he's aware that PA is not a town - but hey, ya never know. He should Google himself - he might be surprised to learn his hometown is Amherst, NY, that he - along with his four brothers - grew up here and attended Willliamsville schools, and that he only lived in Pennsylvania for one year - his senior year of high school. I think his career is more likely to end due to STD than injury - perhaps neurosyphilis has already set in. .
  20. Actually, "The Gronks", as they now like to be known, got so much media attention for having 3 brothers in the NFL (two of them with NE* for a brief couple of weeks last season), that you'd pretty much have to have had your head buried in the sand to NOT know Gronkowski is from Buffalo. Even Daddy Gronk got his 15 seconds of fame when he was quoted in the national media about how much easier it would be for him now that he didn't have to fly from Buffalo to NE*, Denver, and Indianapolis to see his sons play, after Dan signed with NE*. (That, however, was short-lived now that Chris Gronkowski plays for the Broncos!) (For the record, there are 5 Gronkowski brothers in total - the eldest, Gordon, played [very] minor league baseball in the Angels organization for 3 seasons; the youngest, Glenn, is a freshman FB at Kansas State. And Gordon Sr. - a.k.a. "Daddy Gronk" - played for Syracuse.) But the confusion probably stems from the fact that Daddy Gronk wanted so badly for Robbie Gronk to get more exposure in his senior year of high school, that he transferred young Bob to nationally-recognized Woodland Hills H.S. in Pennsylvania - a move that almost backfired when Bob was initially denied eligibility. Seems they thought he transferred there purely for athletic reasons, not due to family relocation or for academic advancement. (They were, of course, correct.) In any case, while I'm sure the family is very nice, and probably a blast to get together with and pound some beers, sudden fame has caused the brothers - Rob in particular - to act like (and be portryed as) a bunch of dumb jocks... Link -Rob Gronkowski Getting a Reality Show Now That He’s Signed with William Morris Agency In fact, as a proud Buffalonian, I'm actually kinda glad some folks DON'T know he's from Buffalo... . .
  21. If the Bills don't wear blue pants this season, I am so done with this team...
  22. What you saw were likely ill-behaved Yankees fans hankering for an ass-whuppin' (usually oboxious NYC punks attending BU, just down the street). I used to see the same thing all the time in the mid-1980s, when I had season tix at Fenway.
  23. The behavior of the drunken, lower-primates at that last Bills-Browns MNF game back in 2008 caused me to boycott night games at RWS - and, I gottta say, sometimes the day games aren't much better. Nobody's makin' Mom proud these days - it's enough to drive you to the Paul Maguire Club! (That said, nice to see old-dude Bills guy kick young Cleveland punk's ass ) GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!!
  24. There has never been a time when I did NOT "Bill-ieve"... GO BILLSSS!!!! 18 and 1 baby!!!!!
