  1. Thank you; it's good to know I'm not totally out to lunch.
  2. I'm not sure that's why the balls were slightly underthrown. I think Allen has dedicated himself to making a concerted effort this year not to overthrow his deep shots and let his guys make plays on the ball. They left some yards and points on the field last year when he was playing it a little too safe on his deep shots, and I think he recognized that and decided to make that one of his points of emphasis in the offseason.
  3. They hit Stafford 22 times last night without blitzing a single time*. *(I did think I saw Milano up the A gap once in the first half but the All 22 folks claimed there were zero blitzes so I'll go with that)
  4. While I'm lookin back like Lot's wife...
  5. I missed it at home because Chris Collinsworth never shuts the hell up.
  6. Yep, that's why it is no longer watchable and hasn't been in several years.
  7. Not to mention, it's not just the fans. The way Dorsey, Diggs and Allen went after him last night, it was obvious it's personal.
  8. Thanks for making me choke on my pasta....
  9. Late 1st / Early 2nd maybe?
  10. In his entire career, Jordan Phillips has had exactly one year where he had more than 3 sacks. Ed Oliver has never had a year where he has had less than three sacks. Over the last 3 years Ed Oliver has had almost 120 tackles while Jordan Philips has had 65 In the same time frame, Ed Oliver has had twice as many stuffs as Phillips has. I bet if you could add up how many doubles they've faced in that time, Ed would be dealing with twice as many of those too. Phillips flashes pretty on occasion, but he is nowhere near as good a ballplayer as Oliver.
  11. At one point I thought I saw him take a funny hop at the top of a route, then Kumerow ended up getting a lot more snaps than expected. Hard to imagine a healthy Diggs foregoing more opportunities to torture Jalen Ramsey. Is Stefon hiding a little something?
  12. Boogie could get kicked back inside if Ed can't go. If not, I think he's a stouter End than Epenesa.
  13. I like watching DB's trying to rip it out of there. He barely even notices they're there and they end up looking like little kids hanging off Daddy.
  14. Are they saying he's the 9th best player on the Rams? That's probably a little low, I'd probably have him just sneaking into their top 7.
  15. I'm going to get killed for this but my favorite wing sauce has this for a base: A whole bunch of this mixed in for extra flavor: A dollop of this to add a tiny bit of sweet: And then a couple pats of butter Before you sumbitches go upside my head, the wings are served with celery and good blue cheese dressing with a lot of extra crumbles mixed in. NO ranch on the table.
  16. You were right the first time.
  17. I'm not sure that last one was designed. I think that was just Josh still knowing he had a crew there from Firebaugh watching him.
  18. That was my first look at him. He plays much bigger than I expected. 🤯
  19. He took a tremendous pounding, especially in the 2nd half. And Frasier couldn't have called up more than 2-3 blitzes all night long.
  20. ***** rest. I hope they're all already drunk in a beach bar ('cept you Poyer ; - )
  21. Somebody with a DVR watch that 4th down conversion the Rams had early; I think that was the play he got hurt on. He made a really intelligent and really athletic play looping around the front of the WR so he didn't knock him forward and then planting and turning to get squared up and help with the tackle. The Guard only beat him there by a split second and it would have been a stop if he hadn't. How many times do you see a guy from behind knocking a ballcarrier past the sticks, but Oliver knew exactly where he was and nearly made an obscenely good play to get the ball back
  22. I thought he looked more in command of his own game than he did most, if not all, of last year. That was a really pleasant surprise.
  23. I don't think this is wrong, but the Bills have done this before with Josh. Coming out early in the season and establishing an RPO you have to practice for and defend, then putting it away for long stretches until key moments later in the season. McD also has some history of reeling in a co-ordinator that leans on it too much. If they're still doing it in 2-3 weeks, you'll have something to worry about.
  24. I think he does that ***** all the time and rarely gets credit for it.
