I don't even know what we are debating here. The hypothetical possibility of the Bills making this selection when neither of us has a clue? It's not like he's my horse in the race. If you don't think a chance exists the Bills pick him..... ok? I hope you're right.

And no disrespect, but I have to disagree about it being "not uncommon" to be mocked in the first. I have a hard time believing there are a lot of other mocks out there where he goes in the first given he is more often seen as a day 3 pick with potential to maybe go day 2. Edge does fall off early, so I can see him maybe getting into the 2nd round for teams in dire need of help there. But if I was to guess today, I think he more likely goes in the 3rd.
I admit, anything is possible, so won't say never...but I would honestly be stunned to see him go in the first as he would be a massive reach and no where near BPA at any pick in the first IMHO.
I can see the 2nd, edge drops off early, so a team desperate for help might reach. But at 28 and in this Mock, there are higher graded Edge guys still available before he has Kneeland go.
But my comment on how bad this mock draft is was directed at the overall draft. I just felt like its a crazy mock top to bottom and I think its one of the worse ones I have seen overall.
I posted the other notable mocks in the last thread. They're growing considerably the last few weeks. I don't think I'm overthinking both AJE and Groot. They were both top 3 in arm length and wing span for the draft classes they belong to. Unless you think those weren't qualities we pursue and that was just random?

I thought the Bills would consider him which started a string of hate which picked up well in this thread. It's not uncommon for him to be mocked in the late first at this point. As I said in my other post he has physical traits in his arm length and wingspan that we clearly covet given our selection of AJ and Groot. It just wouldn't shock me if they feel he has a first round grade. Hoping we don't see this as well and I'm a WMU grad.

Will watch it again. Really great analysis. He liked the shot to Shakir vs going to Diggs on the highly debated 2nd down play. Called out a potential bad read by multiple players on the 1st down run play. I didn't realize how much real estate Allen likely had if that is a read option and he pulls the ball out. He might have scored. Also discussed the 3rd down, Shakir was open on the left side for what likely is a first down. Allen didn't look that way. He was drooling over Josh's playmaking ability. Riding Diggs hard. Called him out several times for lack of effort and finishing routes. You see it. Lazy routes, rounded, not at the distances needed.
Josh is one of the most insane playmakers in NFL history and his out of structure game is at a level few players have ever seen. Something to be said for boring, repeatable, drop back and throws. Brady was the king of this. Structured stuff is what Josh needs to keep improving on. I think Brady had him going in the right direction with that last year. Seems to do much better when we try and establish the run and work in the shorter designed passes as we did vs KC.
Really worth the watch.

For sure. Even in my early 40's I could throw up some jump balls. The WR is sure to win one or two. As Simon pointed out I think some hitches or slants could be possible. The catch here is if this really was a strategic thing with the goal to not allow you to complete a pass I'm pretty sure you would face some pretty wicked blitzes. I'm not sure any of us would get up after getting knocked down by a DL or blitzing LB.
Along similar lines, I wonder if people think they could gain 10 yards running in a full game or if they could catch a pass. I would say that would be way more difficult than just a single completed pass. Both running and catching would force you into the jungle and I don't know if any of us are surviving that.

So in addition to the drafting of players from those programs in the past, it is pretty on record that they have relationships with those people for better and worse.I would rather have McConkey over Pearsall but either one would be nice. Kitchens seems right up our alley. Super underrated with that 40 but look at Poyer and Hyde. Not exactly burners.

Don't want him, but pretty sure this knocked him down a peg. Having the level of success he had would go to most peoples heads. Life has a tendency to snap most out of it unless it's that deep in his bones which I doubt. He shoveled a decent amount of crap to get where he is.

They target arm length and wingspan at the position. Groot and AJ were in the top 3 DE's in that category, both in the high 80 and 90th percentile in that category. It wasn't by some accident.
Kneeland is this year and they already hosted him for a visit in Buffalo. So as much as I would also hate this pick I don't think it's very far fetched. We have shown it's a position we will invest heavily in. We have need. We have shown interest in Kneeland and his profile is similar to two players we drafted prior. Don't shoot the messenger.

If Marshawn Kneeland is available round 1 I think that is who we will pick and it's going to piss a lot of people off. Beane just doesn't seem to value WR's at a high rate.

I think it’s as good as any. He played for 3 teams in 5 years. Didn’t start for the 49ers for several years. Eventually came to Buffalo after 5 years and turned into pro bowl player. He was a first round pick as well.

I like Kendall Milton. He runs upright, which isn't the best, but he's a big, tough back. He'd be an excellent day 3 RB.

I pealed back on projection status for these guys. Makes sense if he is looking to go sooner. I know he was mocked past the 3rd round a few months ago but as far as current value I really have no idea. I'm a pretty big college football nut and he caught my eye. Most people thought he would be Taylor 2.0. Lots of good backs in this class. I was hoping Ashton Jeanty would come out but he's staying with Boise another year. He's going to be a fun guy to track next year.
